  • Hi everyone,

Thanks LC for starting the thread.

I hope you are all well and ready for Christmas.

I can finally breath :rotfl:after having a really crazy few days, work is mental at the moment with the whole Christmas rush but I am glad it is my weekend off and I dont have to work this Xmas :j.

I was doing pretty well, NSDs until yesterday when I made the terrible mistake of taking hubby and the boys to the supermarket :p. I must admit, DH was worse than the kids lol. And my food budget went out the window, of course . I am glad these are very rare occasions.

Anyway, yesterday my total spendings were £ 103.00.

I shall update my signature in a bit.

    Have a lovely day savers.

    L. x
  • Yesterday I didn't update but I spent £30.24 on last minute Christmas bits. Not bad going- I even avoided buying anything in H&M sale, which is usually my downfall :)

    Hi all :santa2:

NIpping on quickly in lunch... my mini budget today is £50 as you can see below, here is a mini tracker of that one!

    Cigs: £13.51 - £36.49 remaining
    Starbucks £2.50 - £33.99 remaining
Parking at hotel £8 - £25.99 remaining (to pay in morning)

So £25.99 potentially to spend on drinks... should be ok, I've got two bottles of wine with about a glass worth in each left, which I will have while I'm getting ready in the hotel, then there will be drinks on the table and it's onlyu after that we have to buy drinks, I really really really want some change! And not to drink obscene amounts! And not to stay up too too late! Hmmm.......

  • My budget is blown...
    Today I have spent £430.25
The car is back but I just keep looking at it with general hatred - I even rang Ford just to vent at them for a bit. Not that they're remotely interested in the fact that a 6 year old car has cost me close to £1000 to repair and maintain in the past year.
After the stress of the car I then went to my friend's hubby's shop (butcher) and spent £23 on meat to last the next few weeks. Plus £15 in b m on a couple of very last minute gifts for the kids (my dad gave me the cash for this).
That really is it for now though - has to be as I'm out of cash.

So sorry to hear about your car issues, that's terrible. I don't drive so I have no useful comments unfortunately, but offer you virtual hugs.

I am sending you a ((hug)). Good for you having a go at Ford. Even if they don't do anything it's good that you had a vent at them - maybe we should all try that.
Hope that's it for you and you have a fantastic 2012 :)
