i hope you managed to grab some bargains
i went back after uni and got a few more bits - almost everything was £1, £2 or £3
x:beer: Happy Bargain Hunting!! :beer:0 -
The online clearance is also having prices steadily reduced. For £30 delivered I have just received 2 x bed throws, 1 king mattress protector, a pair of long gloves and a wok.
I have just put in a second order jointly with my mum, as things that were still pricey last time have been further reduced. The wok that I paid £2 for last week is now down to £1 and is fantastic quality so mum is having one of those! Well worth the £3.99 delivery if you are buying a few bits.0 -

sounds good did you go for wooden or metal handle?? I suspect the metal one heats up so will probably go for the wooden one.0 -
Just been into Worthing Tacky Maxx and got an Esscherts large garden tool kit for £3. It included a really good quality hand fork and trowel, a pouch for hanging round your waist so you can keep all your gardening bits handy and a ball of twine. The gloves were missing but I wasn't too bothered about that as I've got really small hands and they don't usually fit anyway. It was originally marked up at £40
We just need some warm weather so I can get out in the garden and use them :rotfl:0 -

The one I got has a plastic handle - don't know if it is metal inside the plastic? Should be fine for the odd stir fry. I previously had a traditional one with a wooden handle that I bought in a Chinese Supermarket. It was excellent quality but because I don't use it very often it went rusty between uses, despite seasoning with oil. I think you need to use them daily to get the seasoned restaurant finish! So I am back to non-stick for now...0 -
i went into my local tkmaxx after the school run this morning & got a Chloe bag that i saw yesterday the tkmaxx original price was £499.99 (don't know how much it originally was in Chloe boutiques) & then was reduced to £160 yesterday & today it was £71 :j i did debate whether to wait until tomorrow morning for it to go down in price again but glad i didn't as the shop assistant who served me told me she asked another member of staff to put it to one side for her when they told her it had been reduced more but they didn't :rotfl:
i also got my 9 year old son a coat for £3 & my 7 year old a schott cardy for a fiver plus a few other little bits:beer: Happy Bargain Hunting!! :beer:0 -
saw an old lady buying loads of the same leather jacket wonder if she's going to ebay them? they looked quite a few sizes too small for her lol:beer: Happy Bargain Hunting!! :beer:0

I am broken hearted, been coveting a particular Luella bag for ages, but original TK Maxx price was too expensive. Saw it yesterday reduced - but not enough (£160). Walked in today and was literally a metre away when a woman picked it up - £7 !!!!! Stalked her around the store, hoping her screaming toddler would put her off. She bought it. Hope her toddler screams and screams...
Must be this forum, or word of mouth, but stock is going tremendously fast compared to last year. There won't be anything left for Sunday's finale. The three stores near me have nothing left but torn and broken bits. Saw some women trying on shoes with dirty feet then throwing the shoes willy nilly. Put me off.
Best bargain from this sale last year was a Belstaff bag for £6.
Happy bargain hunting!0 -
