I just typed a huge post when an extension cable blew and all the computers went off at work! I don't normally work sundays but they needed cover and how can I say no to reading weekend papers and drinking coffee for time and a half and OH offered me a lift? It's absolutely freezing as the LL won't put heating on at weekends so it's jumpers, scarves, hot water bottles and blankets!
Got washing and packing to do when I get home and a beef roast for dinner.

bramble hope you are okay now!
redruby the mugs and plates and everything at CK is so tempting!
(((hugs))) to all who need them, jackie, jc, danzi everyone xx

FB - i might steal your idea for my evening too! Minus baileys though!

I have put the bins out, cleaned the kitchen and put a wash in the machine. OH has been to get me straws and painkillers so i'm set for my day inside.

Ohhh have just realised we have important clients coming into work tomorrow for meeting and my big boss will be there too!!! may ask if I can take a half day if i'm still in pain and still look like a train wreck!! I don't think it will be great for business for them to meet me looking this way.. ahaha.

off to try and drink hot chocolate :)

    Afternoon all.....Bore da Cariad,

Very cold here.....OH went out around mid-day and said that the road was very slippery, so not moving anywhere.

Going to wrap some presents in a bit....wrap them individually, then put in large bag per house, as we will be travelling I reckon that will be a way of making sure I have everything....hope that they are not famous last words!! Am now starting to panic in respect of stuff ordered online, should be here in time so am going to try to forget about it. There is the small matter of the poncho I am knitting for DGD2 but its in train....

We bought the tree yesterday but it is still in 'wrapper' will try to persuade OH to put it up to-morrow morning while I am knitting, that way I might avoid the swearing about the lights! That way DGS2 can help me to decorate it when I get him home from school.

JG....take it easy....baby will arrive when ready, take the opportunity to rest now.

    Mioliere....safe journey back to family.

    Bramble....ouch!

OH wants an early dinner so is going to cook steak, stir fry and probably wedges in a bit....

Fed up with hair hanging in my face, so plaited it this morning...OH laughed until I said to him that at least I HAVE hair....very convenient.

Have a good day all, glad to know that weather is to be kinder to us this Christmas than it was last year...still never want to see a flake of the white stuff again....

Bramble ......OUCH hope your ok. Lots of TLC is in order for you I think.
Hope everyone else is ok. Took woofer to the fields this morning. He spent just over an hour racing round with a Lab called Barnie. Just managed to stop him following Barnie down into the brook.Got home to merry hell.It sounded like dd and ds2 were trying to kill each other:eek::eek:. From what I could work out Ds2 had been sl agging dd off on Fb to one of his friends and she read it. Why oh why cant I just have a quiet house just for a day. So shouted at them both which perhaps wasn't a good idea , my poor neighbours:o:o. He is refusing to delete the comments , they were very spiteful so he has packed up and gone off to his dads stropping. His choice not mine. Just a normal sunday in the uolypool household:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
Kitchen floor needs washing , muddy paw prints all over it ;)
Dinner is slow cook chicken with the usual roasties etc,
Have a pile of ironing that needs doing , I'm sure its part of dd jobs for pocket money. Brain has given up will ask sweetly;)
Have to go and put ds3 work clothes in the wash as he is working mon, tues, thurs and Sat and Sun next week. With only 1 set of work clothes:eek::eek:

Bramble ouchie! You need to take more water with it! No, seriously though, I hope it heals quickly.:o

CG glad the nut loaf was a success.

Sid's been walked and has eaten the last of his morning meal, and is now snoring on the sofa. All right for some!:D

I've had to write a letter to the psych service... they kindly sent me a copy of the evaluation form they did on me, and there are a load of glaring errors on it; I'm not having that, as it may affect my treatment further down the line, so I've asked for them to be corrected.

WM is currently on; I normally do washing overnight (cheaper leccy) but it wouldn't be fair to Sidney to have to try and sleep with that going.:o

    Afternoon everyone :D

Had a lovely lie in this morning as kids had sleep over at my mum and dads last night. Been and done my food shopping and I am not going out there again until after Christmas :D if we run out of something then tough, we will have to make do :)
Had a lovely snow shower this morning, lots of lovely big flakes and then it stopped. Had rain and hail since :( supposed to be 11 degrees on Thursday  so doesn't even look like it will even be a cold Christmas :( I knew it's cause I put the snow tyres on the car :(
Just about to make a plan of activities for the kids to do over next week. Already got requests for painting a snowman, making snowflakes......having a wee party of 4 of the kids on Thursday as it's my last day. Why oh why do I let myself in for these things :rotfl:
Tea tonight is chicken with veg, gonna roast some spuds and some parsnips too. I can never have too many roast dinners :o

Nowt else going on apart from housework and saving pigeons from killer cat. Must go and check and see if it's dead or alive

Bramble oooww that sounds sore, take care hun. My DH managed to slip in B & Q car park last night, didn't do much damage though he has a very hard head:p

Just having a lovely quiet hour with no kids or hubbies to mither me. No more snow but what we have is staying put by the looks of it.

Uolypool you could have just described our house with everyone shouting and storming off, so I am really enjoying the peace

Have just reread all my SW mags and stuff and feeling really motivated with some good recipes for over the next couple of Christmassy wks. I am planning on visualising myself at goal every day in a size 10 dress for my son's wedding in Australia:T

Off to catch up with the rest of the thread:)
