It's a big car for people who are too scared to go out in a normal car. Probably not usually driven by people who should be driving on anything but dry roads on a sunny day.

I had a 4WD one last year and it was superb in the snow. The majority of Qashqai seem to be 2WD and are probably no better or worse then any other FWD car.0

Any 4wd car will need winter tyres to be most effective too.0 -

There seems to be an element of people who buy a '4wd' because of how bad their current car is in the snow.
THEN it turns out its actually them who cant actually drive properly....
Its worth remembering that for most people delayed last year by the snow, it was caused by traffic jams and other motorists, therefore having the best 4x4 in the world wont change that.0 -

if you get the 4wd one, you'll find it easier in the bad weather, but its not a cure all im afraid. take your time, and you'll be fine.
agree it will be a LOT better than a BMW in the winter! why not wait till some bad weather, and take one for a test drive, that will give you the answer you want.0 -
