Hi,it looks like a "My Offers" type site.My Offers is seen as spam on here.
Personally I would not use it.There is no need to as MSE has all the comps you'll need plus we'll shout up if they are not reputable.
I'll pm Glad to move this to discussion.
Thanks very much. Only just starting this today so still trying to get used to it!0 -
No worries.Just stick to here :-)
Plus entering via one site will ensue that you do not double enter.
Maybe have a look at the comping guide on page one0 -
Hi all, one of my new years resolutions was to put more effort into my creative writing. Its something I've always wanted to do but I haven't really had the guts to go for it till now. I turn 40 this year and want to do something about this. A friend suggested entering competitions but a simple "writing competitions" search throws up so much on the internet I wouldn't know where to start. Can anyone help me with a starting point? Thanks0

The Bridport Prize is one of the biggest and most reputable competitions - some comps are not really worth entering and can just simply be a moneyspinner for the organisers I think.
Look out for magazine writing competitions - I think Woman and Home usually do one once a year, but I never seem to find out about it in time!
I'll post again if I can think of more...
Just found a link page to a round-up of competitions www.booktrust.org.uk.
I think it's best to look for reputable names who put up prizes - the Guardian, BBC (a whole load of comps here, plays, scripts and more), The Times, the Telegraph etc0 -
wheres the green tick gone to show you have entered a comp WITHOUT clicking into the actual comp?? hope its a small error and will be corrected?June - Watch0
