If you go to User CP, Settings and Options and choose Edit Options, right at the bottom there is Forum Skin and you can choose New Masthead Stretchy.

If you hate fixed width, you have an option to change it

We would ask you to try it for a week. Yet if you really can't stomach it you can revert it - the option can be found under your User CP option > Edit Options > Scroll down to the "Miscellaneous Options" area and look for the option labelled "Forum Skin" > Change it to "New masthead, stretchy".

However it's important to be clear the future will see us developing new features and tools based on a fixed width, so no guarantees can be made for compatibility (although we try our best to make it work).

Hello both, just so you know, the annual fee is only if you use Roboform Everywhere and is for unlimited PCs. However the Roboform Desktop is a one off of $19.99 for upgrades, and works fine for me. hth.

Since the MSE update/skin change today I have had a slight issue when clicking on threads.They now open in a new FF tab rather than remaining in the same tab.Anyone else experiencing this ?

Re people who post comps without reading how to set out the post.

Is it just me or have there been more of these than normal recently?

How can the guidelines be made more prominent?

We all have to learn, but it really shouldn't be so hard to get it right if you look at every other comp post and just follow that format. I understand that Glad is the only Board Guide at the moment, she has her work cut out.

what the H*** have mse done. YUK! I've changed it back to 'the old look' and it's nothing like it. What a waste of space at the side on the new look. I feel angry that they have messed about with something that wasn't broken! In fact it's well and truly p**sed me off.

I don't know about anyone else but it looks cheap and tacky and I don't have my green tick or thanks button.

Ok, I'm going to cry now. Every time I click for the next/last page a new page comes up. I have 15 pages open at the moment and I've only been on here. Anyone any ideas what I need to do.


Ok, I've figured it, I went for the old look instead of the - New masthead, stretchy, less bright option. I've also got my thanks and tick back. Phew
