I've often wondered whether or not it's possible to win any of these competitions. I suppose the more you enter, the greater your chance of a successful outcome are!
Thanks for the tips, great thread.
Edit - I must say, I'm a great fan of the Newbie Alert. Hah!0 -

I've just googled your title and guess it looks like it was from Corporatelivewire. I know that this company has been self promoted in the past, with posters PPR'd. I think that if sites self-promote too much their urls just get blocked completely so nobody can post them, which is why it's so important for sites to not continually self-promote. Maybe nobody is allowed to post that site anymore. It would be helpful if there was a list of these banned sites (maybe there is that I haven't seen) so you don't waste your time and effort making the thread, only to find it deleted.0 -

The comp was posted the other day (I think by Jambo) but that had been removed as the site is banned from MSE. I was just about to add a post to your thread warning about this when it was deleted.
Try googling "de-luxe/de-competitions.html?id=73" and the top entry is a competition to win a 40" TV. Facebook is not required - you can fill in the form.0 -
I can't see the TV comp on the FB page, the other one is there though.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

The holiday comp on there Facebook page has a link which goes back to there website
the TV comp on there website links to there Facebook page and only requires you to like the site to enter, I cant post the link as it isn't allowed! but click on competitions on the first post left hand side to find the comp

Wonder if anyone can help, we are just about to put our house on the market and not sure if I should stop comping whilst it is on the market - but it could be on the market a long time and not sure I want to stop comping for a long period, or to use my parents address rather than my home address whilst house on market and until we have purchased our next house.
Has anyone else been a comper on the move or have any advice.
Thanks kerrimouse x:wave:0 -
