hi there Angelina, welcome to MSE madhouse!

the E: bit at start of comp threads is the end date = your last chance to enter! best get entries in well before though, especially if posting anything.

It helps with formatting searches i think- trey clicking the different options at top of this section listing, as see what happens! (last date to enter, most recent /read post etc..)

As for FB v Twitter, it has to be Twitter all the way! much easier than having to find a page /log in / like / fill in any extra forms etc..!
Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)

Thanks Amilucky -- my Flash player was indeed in need of an update, didn't know that might cause problems. Hopefully there will be fewer now.

And I didn't know there was a separate tech forum here -- I just hang out on the comp site :) Thanks Barnabysue.

I've won a couple of facebook ones but have to say the dozens of comments etc already posted always makes me think I have no chance! As for Twitter, I've won my first one on there today, just a couple of cinema tickets but better than nothing.

I've won some nice prizes on Twitter, and nothing, as far as I remember on FB, though I've entered loads there. My fave ones are the competwitions. they're soooo easy. Just one click and it does everything for you. I won an electric guitar from one of those. Good luck

Ive won nothing on twitter yet seem to enter lots. Ive had some great wins on facebook though including a Smart TV, stunt scooter, kids bike, £175 of perfume from Debenhams and more so have done really well. Fingers crossed for a twitter win soon though.

Had a go at the postals for a couple of months but it was costing me about £8 a week and I didnt win anything so I gave up on those.
August - December 2011 prize total approx £1450.:j

I have had decent wins from both twitter and facebook... There are lots of them and prizes vary from big ones to little ones so it's up to you how many you want to/have time to enter!

I know a number of people through twitter who win regularly, don't know whether that has anything to do with their "blogging" status? I sometimes wonder!
:D I love comping! Just waiting for the call from ITV! :D

    :j Best win so far... iPad 3, £500 & KitchenAid Mixer :j

I know what you mean, especially the "beauty bloggers" who seem very clicky...!

There's so many thread on this board about competitions, but some of them do not seem legit! How do you know if a competition is genuine or not?
