I have used Roboform since I started comping and when I updated to the latest Firefox I had problems with it. I now use LastPass and find it works really well.

I thought form fillers would make loads of mistakes, they must be quite good then? How on earth would I go about using one (on my laptop)? I read about Firefox having one but can't find it anywhere!

I use the Autofill add on for Firefox. You fill in the details you want to use and then press a button when you want to use them. As with all form-fillers you do still need to check the details entered are in the correct fields etc, as online forms vary greatly, but it does speed up my comping greatly.

OMG you know your a comper when you buy 6 packs of 4xMars Bars to make a giant Mar Bar tray bake - with the aim not treat the kids though - but to collect wrapper codes to win footie shirts lol!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

MMMmmmm considering we are entering a sporty comp by entering codes from Mars Bar wrappers, we are not being encouraged to eat healthily! 260 calories in one bar so my tray bake will contain at least 6240 cals and that is just the Mars Bars! If I win a shirt I might take up jogging lol!

Hi,I think its about ten posts.

Maybe just post it without a live link ie minus the www/http bit.

Someone will then add the live link.

Haia you can post now but you can't post links.

If you ppst the competition with a link but without the www then some of the other forum members will put a clickable link for you.

You should be able to post your own links once you HAVE posted around 10 posts I think.

Remember to put an end date in the title e.g

    E: 30/06 Win an Ipad

Then just put the details of the comp.

Do a search first though just to check it's not there already.

I've had problems with quite a few comps today, which other people seem to have entered OK. I wonder if it's because I'm using Safari. I've had various difficulties lately on general websites as well as specific comps. Just today I've written to the sponsors of 2 Facebook comps, plus National Geographic, and I gave up on some others. I know that most people use Microsoft web browsers but there are significant numbers using Mac and even Linux. Has anyone else had this problem? It's been very frustrating.

I've been job-hunting for a long time and I've lost access to the jobs website of a local university; I discussed it with them on the phone and they said it's hosted externally and it is only compatible with Microsoft browsers. That's going to help them find the ideal job candidates, isn't it-? My husband works in IT and he can't believe it. To add to the irony, I'm actually taking a course at that university.

Apple don't support websites which use 'flash', and that can cause problems for iphone and ipad users.

Not sure whether there is any solution to this.

Not sure whether it would apply to you if your Husband is in IT anyway, but the Techie Forum members on here are a brilliant lot and full of good advice if you're having problems.
