Has anyone else had their emailed banned lately?!

I haven't been comping much lately but noticed on a newsletter sign-up comp yesterday and another one today that my email address has been banned for one reason or another!!!

It happened on this comp - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3920183 for example!

Can't work out why I've been banned - signing up to too many newsletter prehaps lol!!

Please tell me I'm not alone!

How odd - I'm signed up to millions & squillions of newsletters, been here since 2006 doing this & not seen this before.

Wonder is it personal to you or was it the email provider? sometimes companies don't like Hotmail as they are used by spammers?

Another reason could be that if you sign up to newsletter to enter a comp but later unsubscribe - the webpage may prevent you from signing up again. One of the monthlies I post (Tracklements) clearly prevents anyone who has unsubscribed from entering their comps - it rejects you because you are on the 'unsubscribed list'.

Just received 2 x tickets for Picturehouse cinema ,which I can't use as their cinemas are miles away from where I live.
I see that I can not give them away via M.S.E. forum as it's against the rules,was wondering how other people dispose of those prizes that they can't use

How did you get the free picturehouse tickets? I was planning to see Marley at Picturehouse Stratford on Monday and was just looking for cinema offers. Wish I could take them off your hands, but if it's against the rules then would be great to know how you got them.

I tend to stay subscribed to newsletters because I'm too lazy to unsubscribe plus sometimes they're useful!

I did however contact the newletter provider (Mail Chimp) last night and they were absolutely excellent. Got back to me within a couple of hours, kept me informed throughout today and it's now been sorted!!

Apparently it was an " internal error "

Does anyone know anything about musical instruments? I'm doing the puzzles in today's Daily Express and the Ditloids one is stumping me:

O P on a H
I think it might be something to do with ____ ______ on a harpsichord.

(If you don't know what Ditloids are, their example is 7 D in a W and the theme is time = 7 Days in a Week)
