Hi all, not sure if this is the right place, but I was wondering if anyone had subscribed to the main comps board for email notifications, and if they had stopped receiving the regular daily updates?

I was using this as a handy daily reminder of all the comps posted and updated from the day before but it suddenly seems to have stopped? Any ideas how to get it started again?

Sorry if I sound thick but can anyone help me. I am fairly new to comping and have set up a facebook account as many of the comps need it. Some say you will be notified through facebook and dont quite know how to keep track of this. Can anyone help a pensioner here!

Firstly, on the Facebook page, if you look in the top left hand corner you will see the word 'Facebook'. If you click on that, on the left hand side of the page you will see 'Messages' and below that 'Other Messages', check those folders regularly.

Also, on the I Won pages on this Forum, there is a Facebook Winners Thread, check that regularly too. You can also search the Forum for your Facebook name and it will pick up posts where your name is mentioned.

Finally, this link is a compers Facebook page, if you click on the magnifying glass at the top right, you can search for your facebook name there too:

The lovely people there post any winner announcements that they spot.

Hi, Not sure if this is the right place to ask but hubby needs to buy new tyres for his van so thought I'd try to find out if anyone knows of any competitions where you can either win tyres or need to buy some as a qualifier. Any help much appreciated!

I don't know of any comps for tyres but tell him to use https://www.etyres.co.uk.

All their contact details are on the website and they come to you.

I've used them for years and they are around 40-50% cheaper as they don't have branches and therefore less overheads.

i cant be of much use im afraid!:) have you tried the search function? you prob have, but if not...if you go to the main comps page, its in a green banner near the top. you click on it, and put in what ud like to search for. you could try diff tyre makes, for the life of me i cant think of any tho! LOL!:rotfl:dunlop. do they still make tyres?! fire something?
