I just wish it would stop raining!
Our house is not right on the seafront, I will send you a pic if I can work out how ! We took a chance as we didn't know much about the area but the neighbours are great, it is nice and quiet, and the house is really big for the teenagers to spread out in (and it was half the price we would have had to pay in Lancaster for a similar one!)
Have you found a school for dd yet? My daughter is at Ripley and we have been really impressed with it, very big school but she loves it x'Forget injuries, never forget kindnesses' - Confucious0 -
Hi NL Fantastic house for teenagers (thanks for the pm), you won't be able to hear them at the top of the house.
Ripley is our closest school 4 Miles away, not sure about the whole church thing though and how much that will count against us as we don't go:(.
Today has been a spendy day, poor DS came home with a hole in his shoe and wet feet, made a quick dash to shoezone (couldn't afford clarks) bought a pair of shoes for £15 and they were leather, ok not as good quality as clarks, but to be honest I find with DS that expensive shoes don't last any longer with him.
Also spent £2.25 in the chinese supermarket bought curry sauce and prawn crackers, we had chicken curry for tea:D.
Recieved £3 from superpoints and £4.39 from crowdology, so was able to withdraw £10 out of paypal, as soon as this hits bank account I will pay it off Tesco CC.0 -
My DD got in via an aptitude test but I am not sure whether they still do this as applications increased over the last couple of years (we have not been near a church for about a decade either...)!
Need to get cracking with the surveys again, Christmas creeping up far too fast 'Forget injuries, never forget kindnesses' - Confucious0 -
Thanks NL, I think they still do the test.0

What a !!!!!! day at work, have a banging head and just want to cur up in a ball somewhere, anyway its over and tomorrow is another day.
Recieved £4 from pinecone, so i've withdrawn that to go towards tesco CC.
Petrol needed today emptied my purse and had £14.65, so put that in.
Graze box arrived, very yummy snacks, shame i'm skint could quite happily order it every week, going to have the half price one next week and then cancel, feel i deserve a little treat and that won't break the bank.0 -
Horrible day here too x Teenager induced stress headache will not shift!
Much chocolate being consumed in Morecambe'Forget injuries, never forget kindnesses' - Confucious0 -
Morning NL, hope your headache has gone, mine has almost but now have that horrible aching down my neck from when I have had a migraine, roll on the weekend.
£10 hit account from paypal and as its payday tomorrow I cleared out the last remining pennies from my account so £12.50 has been paid to Mr T CC.
No other news today, will update when I get in from work, got a feeling its going to be another one of those days.0
