  • Morning, sorry not been on for a few days everything is a bit manic, trying to sort everything out so at least we have a week in the new house before kids go back to school.

Have made £8 on ebay over the last few days, recieved £3.10 from superp*ints and £25 from pure prof!le, only need to make another £80 and I will have hit £1000 long way off £2012 that I wanted to make in the challenge.

    Not much else going on.
  • Well done on the surveys, i seem to be locked out of onepoll, going to try e-mailing them in a minute, flipping in the mid-£30s as well, aarrgghh.
Is pureprofile worth signing up for?

Are the kids excited about their new home / rooms?

  • Pureprofile is pretty good, you have to check everyday for surveys, most are paid from around 50p up and if you get screened out you still get paid 5p.

Children are excited but apprehensive, like me they will be glad when we are in and settled.
  • spendy day, £65 spent on a new bedframe for DD and £30 spent in Tesco.

have managed to list 7 items on ebay, don't know if they will sell as its pretty slow at the minute.

Have packed a few more things today and decluttered a few things to the bin, want my new home to be as clutter free as possible.
  • Count down to moving 7 days:j, very excited but very anxious, don't seem to have got much packed.

Todays jobs are to hound OH to ring BT about moving.
    Go and buy a shower.
    Post ebay parcel.
    Pay halifax card.
    paint living room ceiling.
    Pain 2nd coat on kitchen.
    Do some more packing.

Spent £4.46 on net curtain wire yesterday, but bought through amazon and used vouchers, so real cost £0.
    Withdrew £8 from mysurv£y and recieved £11.20 from pan£lbas£.

Better go get dressed and get DD up.

  • I'm with Bella, wondering how you have got on with the move?

Can i ask you how you make friends on superpoints? Can i be friends with you or is it only when you recruit someone? Just my real life friends don't know how broke and desperate we are!! So won't be interested in superpoints.

  • Helloooooooooooooo, i'm back :j :j :j. Its only taken bl**dy BT 2 weeks to sort out my internet, useless barstewards:mad:.

PWD when I get a moment I will sort a referrel out for you for SP.

So we have moved, children have started new school and enjoying it, money saving has been slow due to no internet but i'm raring to get back into it.

Did manage to make £200 on ebay before moving as I sold some furniture and garden toys, this went towards new beds/mattress for the kids.

We are now on oil instead of gas and when hubby checked oil tank it is 1/3rd full so thats good news, we are also thinking of getting rid of one of the cars as we think we can now manage with just one.

Will try and update some more later, currently cooking as we have friends coming round for tea.
  • Good to have you back!
Well done on the ebaying and yikes to the oil, the only thing i like about it is you buy it in advance so no nasty surprises.
Would be a huge saving if you could survive on one car, we can't yet as we both do separate pick ups and drop off for the children, but as they get older it might be doable...

  • Having that everything is out of control feeling today, really need to get myself back into a routine with surveys, ebay and overpayments, feel as though I've lost my ability to deal with the debt and can't cope:(, I know I need to write down everything that needs doing and take control. I also know i need to get back into my diary as this seems to help me stay on track.

Today has been a spendy day £31.34 spent in sainsburys but i'm hoping that this will see me through until next Friday when I get paid, fingers crossed.

Children needed 50p each for tuck shop tomorrow, so instead of going to the cash point and withdrawing £10 , which I would have frittered the other £9, I raided the change jar, does mean they are going to school with 5p and 10p, but its good for there mental maths having to add the change up :rotfl:, so really i'm being educational.

Recieved £3 from mysurvey today, have left it in paypal until there is a bit more in there.

Work is hectic but i'm really enjoying being in a new class with lots of children i've never worked with before, also really like the teacher i'm with.

OH has bought me a tumble dryer:j, I know its not MSE but I was getting so stressed with trying to keep on top of the washing and trying to dry things on radiators that he went out and bought it for me and I have to say it was a lovely surprise.

Been good since going back to work after the hols and have taken a packed lunch everyday:D, Also because my journey is further now I don't have time to nip to Tesco after dropping kids at school so I'm saving money there as well.

Right off to dish up tea, put a beef casserole in the slow cooker this AM, so just needed to put on potatoes and peas:D.
