  • Hi bella, glad things have been sorted out at work .

Yesterday was a pottering at home sort of day, got a fair bit of washing done, still more to do but the sun is out and I have pegged a load out and there is another load whirling in the machine as I type, also whacked the dishwasher on as I forgot to switch it on last night before bed:mad:.

Had a delivery from Mr S yesterday as they kindly sent me a free delivery code, so that saved me petrol:D, spent £56 and seemed to have got quite a bit and will hopefully see us through next week and maybe the week after, especially as the kids will be off school, so that makes lunches a bit easier, If i run out of sandwich meat they can have a burger, pasta salad or evan pancakes. Easier to be creative when they are at home. Kids had pancakes for brekkie yesterday, cleaned the fridge out first thing ready for grocery order and made 2 pizza's with bits that needed using, so they are sat ready in the freezer for Thursdays tea as I know thats going to be a busy evening, also baked cakes yesterday.

No change on the money front, still have a short fall, have a couple of items ending today on ebay but only have 99p bids and as there are no watchers I don't think I'm going to make much:(, trying to keep my chin up and keep going and not get upset about lack of funds, crying about it isn't going to change things, need to be pro active and scrape money in from somewhere, will list a couple more bits on ebay later and will go back through budget.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend .

  • Thanks m2g.
Bella - hope baby slept well again for you.
PWD - I'm hoping money comes through quickly too.

Yesterday was another day at home, kids and OH took dogs a walk, I stayed at home ironing, got about 2/3rds of it done, will get the rest done this afternoon.

Made £5 on ebay yesterday, which is better than nothing, still waiting on one person paying.

Last week of school/work, my get up and go has got up and legged it, really feel like ringing in sick, but know thats not the answer, just grit my teeth and get through it.

Better go and get ready for work, have a good day everyone.

    Morning pwps

Well baby had me up in night but only once for under an hour so can't complain :)

Just grit your teeth one more week and you'll be finished work, have you not considered getting a new job ? You don't seem happy were you are, just a thought :)

Right best get moving DS isn't well again he is coughing loads to the point it's making him nearly sick so he's having a day off, so ive told him if hes to ill for school then no swimming or McDonald's for tea and he said fine so really must be feeling off colour. • Would love to find a new job bella, but they are like gold dust, hardly ever see any advertised around here for what I do and my job fits in perfectly around the kids, so don't need childcare.

Ok I promise to stop whinging about my job.

    Right off to work.

You whinge away pwps, it always helps to have a vent :) I just know how awful it can be if your not happy at work :( my job also fits around my kids which is a bonus.

Just made fairy cakes and chocolate chip cookies yum yum yum

And asked ds1 to eat some strawberries (he's a bit food phobic, like me) and he did bless him he said he's not really sure if he likes them, but we're making progress :)

Anyways hope you've had an ok work day xxx
