Check the internet and you will see many cases of cheap purfumes causing problems as you are not sure what is contained in them.
Check the internet and you will see many case of cheap drugs causing problems because you are not sure what is contained in them, but that doesn't mean to say that Tesco own brand paracetamol poses any threat to human life. Lidl are part of Schwarz, which is a pretty big German retail group with a multi billion euro turnover - are you seriously suggesting that they would sell a perfume that could "cause problems"?
Besides, it would be worth noting that the likes of Givenchy, Beyonce, whatever, don't actually make perfume - most of the world's perfumes are manufactured by a half-a-dozen big manufacturers that you've never heard of; like the wonderfully named International Flavors and Fragrances. It's all manufactured in bulk, and costs very little to make - normally the bottle costs more to make then the contents. Profit margins of 95% are not unknown in the perfume business, so I can see no reason why a particular retailer could not do a deal with a perfume manufacturer to produce a scent that was of the same quality as a 'brand name' for a fraction of the price.0 -

considering i have a website that sells fragrances yes i know how its made and where its made.0 -
Why don't:
those people who like the perfume - buy it.
those people who don't like it - don't buy it.
those people who are allergic to it - don't buy it.
those people who are worried that they may be allergic to it - don't buy it.
those people who believe it can't smell nice if it only costs £3.99 - don't buy it.
Perfume smells differently on each person so it's a very subjective thing.0 -

Then you should be very careful about posting comments on an open internet forum that imply that your competitors are selling products that are in someway substandard, as in:i cant see perfume for £3 being any good just like the ones you get at poundland for £1
But it does tell us all where you're coming from doesn't it?0 -

Which Chanel one is it supposed to smell like?"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Coco Mademoiselle
At least that's the one it beat in the 'smell test'.

I'm no snob when it comes to things like perfume. If it smells nice, then great. There will no doubt be some quality issues (that most people may not even notice). For example, cheaper perfumes tend to evaporate more quickly and don't have such rich 'base' notes.
But, at the end of the day, they'll all be made from pretty much the same ingredients. When you pay 50 odd smackers for a bottle of Chanel, you're paying for the name, not the smell."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0
