Praise: Lidls £3.99 perfume

Options
Has anyone else tried the Suddenly Madame Glamour perfume from Lidls?
£3.99 and it's lush. They also do a gift set which I'm going to get of creams and shower gel.

Had heard good things about it, like it's close to chanel perfume.

Worth a punt if you havn't tried it yet.
1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31
10 & 20p: misc savings £2.70
50p: Christmas presents £3.50
£2: holidays £2.00

i cant see perfume for £3 being any good just like the ones you get at poundland for £1
  • I saw it in a newspaper few months back that it passed a scent test compared to expensive perfumes with channel as one of them and bought it. It really is lush as you say.

When people ask and I tell them it's from LIDL they always don't beleive me. I'd go and get the the creams and shower gel soon,I didn't know they had them. Thank you MarylnMonroe for that info.

I wear this on occasions & get nice comments from colleagues (great for every day wear). Again they cannot believe how much & where I got it. And it lasts well as a fragrance on the skin.

  • Seriously, no!

    Lidl's perfume!

Suddenly Madame Glamour - because you're worthless........

    Might catch on that.......

For a cheaper alternative why not break open a liquid air freshener and spray that all over!

I'm all for saving money, but I'm also of the view that some things are cheap for a reason.

    Just a thought.

Out shopping, then she will come home having spent all of my money, make me a meal and we will have some fine wine followed by a night of great sex! Enough detail?

I'm not really bored, no. You see I had this email early this morning saying "Today we are going for a big push on Lidl Perfume" forwarded to me by one of my friends who works for a marketing and reputation management company. I was wondering when it would manifest and spill out here.

It's perfectly fine for people to argue the toss about something costing £4 almost trying to pass itself off as 'as good as a £60 product' - that's not trolling, it's just plain old balance. Fortunately, apart from the really gullable - and despite the best efforts of Lidl, most people won't start thinking onions are apples :D

Perhaps you'd like to sing it's praises here to:

I've already started a thread on it days ago, and appreciate it isn't exactly the same smell and quality as Chanel, but it smells nice, and is fine for £3.99.I also get bought expensive perfume by my OH, but like to try different stuff too:D:D
