It might be worth mentioning as well that the OP wont ever be able to travel to the USA without a full visa and a very expensive series of phone calls and visits to the USA embassy in london since his arrest.
On the visa disclaimer thing you do online when travelling, one of the questions is: have you ever been arrest for (and then there's a big old list of offenses, one of which is drugs)
Although he would fail the ESTA due to the arrest, he was never convicted and so this would cause less concern to the US in relation to issueing a visa than a convicted person.0 -
