It doez help, but in my experience you will still need to fish out long hair every now and then since some of it seems to be able to get through anyway.0 -
you can also buy a metal plug hole cover thing in asda for 99p
its amazing how much hair is in it after just 1 shower0 -
I have some hair spray remover mousse that I bought in Wilkinsons and it is too strong for my skin so I'm going to try squirting it down the plug-hole tonight. I'm strangely excited by doing this as I really don't want to have to fish out the hairs of the three blokes I share a house with!! Urgh...Previous debt: £14K :embarasse Debt free: Sept '03

Yeah the nice thing about wearing a wig I guess is that you can chuck it in the washing machine and do something else while getting your hair washed.0 -

Cillit Bang (the advert with the man with the annoyingly loud voice) is like a bleach you pour down the plug hole, leave it for a half hour and run the tap for a few minutes. The hair and gunk should dissolve. We've got to do this in our shower every couple of months.[STRIKE]Mortgage End Date: April 2025[/STRIKE]

I always use a crochet hook. It's really satisfying to get a good big slimy lump out! (Sorry if that makes anyone feel sick, but I bet I'm not the only person to get a kick out of it!)Oh dear, here we go again.0
