As the old saying goes, there is more than one way to skin cat, for example

From your link:According to The New York Times, the United States supplied the following arms to Iran:[31]
So air defence (really good and murdering your own people those) and anti-tank missiles, in the region of a few thousand.
This is a drop in the ocean compared to the Russian and Chinese arms sales. Of course, the AK-47 was not Russian but came from Wisconsin. T-55 tanks were actually made in Bracknell.0 -
The T55's made in Bracknell had an upgrade though. They were still sh1te mind you

Sounds a bot improbable to tell the truth as the servicing tools would be scattered in a number of locations all around the catwalks and hull. There is no one container which you could compare to a "boot". No reason why your mate didn't find some unused tools though.
By now you'll have guessed it wasn't me. Was it anyone from QRIH at all?
The boot example was mine, no wasn't QRIH, it was Hussar regiment from memory though 14/20th?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

I'm racking my brain trying to think of the make up of the two armoured brigades in GW1 but to the best of my recollection there were no other hussar regiments. There were however people drafted in from all over the place to make up numbers. Mate of mine from the 17/21L was there with his crew but the 17/21 weren't there. His panzer broke down in fact and while they were waiting on Bluebell they had a gobbly wobbly pass 30 feet away. He informed me that the legend about adrenalin being brown is absolutely true.

Fannie, Freddie Execs Indicted for Securities Fraud
wow I thought these guys were still getting paid 20m a year for their fine work
For anyone unaware these are the companies who produced trillions of housing debt in the name of (good) government now held by the FED
Ive not seen it confirmed anywhere yet though0 -

What about 14th/20th?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
What about 14th/20th?
Don't think they were there as a unit. Racking my brain and doing google seacrhes but can only come up with the wrong info so far.
4 Armd Bde was the SDG's and 4RTR.
7 Armd Bde was the QRIH and ?
Different story in GW 2 when the KRH (which included the 14/20 and RH) were there.0 -

I think the 14/20 were under the command of Lady Di's bit on the side, well maybe not under the command
http://www.britains-smallwars.com/gulf/gulfunits.htm14th/20th King's Hussars (57 Challenger MBTs) with A squadron, The Life Guards (14 Challenger MBTs) attached, under command of Major James Hewitt, when deployed on Boxing day 1990 from Germany, as an attachment Squadron to the 14/20 Kings Hussars, and spearheading the British assault on the Iragi's. By all accounts our tanks where the first unit to make a kill, in the form of enemy APC/tank etc. Left the theatre on 31st March 1991. Rob Mather.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. Must have been the 14/20KRH then. They weren't the spearhead though. QRIH were. Captain Nick Scott (RIP) got the MM for being the first commander to cross the line into Iraq. Of course QRIH was under the command of Lt Col Denaro and I'm afraid that every other colonel in the army fades into insignificance beside him.0
