Need comfortable warm driving gloves
I have tried various gloves for driving and cant find anything warm, flexible with decent grips on the fingers and palms.
Tried leather but to me honest dont like my hadn smelling of leather after wearing them for 40mins+ driving to work.
Last year bought some gloves called exteremites from trek and field for £20. These are nice and flexible but no good grips for the steering wheel.
Saw in Asda Bell cycling gloves with gel pads on the palm, but unfortunately they dont have very good grips for using the steering wheel.
anyone recommend any good gloves?

I love my leather gloves for driving. But before I got them I used to wear the ones that were like slipper socks with the little grippy things on them. Think you can still get them in places like poundstrecher.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

My wife used them when she was into horseriding, but they also make excellent driving gloves. Grippy, warm and not leather, so they breathe.0 -

I recently bought a new pair of them off ebay they have great grip for driving and don't make your hands smell. Would definitely recommend them and yes i think places like poundstretcher poundland etc would sell a basic pair! Camping shops are also very good for buying warm pairs of gloves, which aren't over priced. :j
Good Luck:eek: 2014: £20 voucher from SurveyFriends, £10 cash payout from Panel Opinion too and working towards more from Valued Opinions currently.
2013: £35 and £50 vouchers from SurveyFriends! More than £15 made from other paid surveys sites (Yougov, Panel Opinion, Valued Opinions, Pinecone, etc.) Happy so far!0 -
You could always try using silk (or silk style) inner gloves with the leather ones over the top - that would stop most of the smell but give you the grip from the leather ones.Adventure before Dementia!0

I've got a pair of these. It says thick but they are thin enough to be flexible for getting your fingers round the steering wheel.

Have you considered a pair of mechanics gloves from somewhere like Demontweeks (other retailers are available). I've had a couple of pairs and have used them for karting and on trackdays and they give loads of grip on the wheel and are warm. :cool:0

I just use a pair of fleece Adidas gloves that I've had for years. Keep me nice and warm and never had any problems with the steering wheel.0
