    Hmmm having problems too..

Signed boyfriend up, he brought a voucher.. all done (before I realised you could do the whole referral thing).
Tried to sign back into his 'account' later to send his link on to try and get it for free and was not able to log in.
Clicked forgot password and they had no record of his email address, so I just made another account using the same email address which I was able to do :S
He used my referral link this second time so his voucher was £5.00, and that's what was taken from his bank account.

Today check his bank account and 2 lots of payment have been taken, one for £10 and one for £5.
Log into his account and it states he paid £10 for it! :@
He used the voucher yesterday (it still said £5 on there, and there is only one voucher in his account.. then one he used yesterday).

So confused and annoyed.. have tried every thing to find it (don't mind paying £10 if there is a voucher, but there isn't one)

    Arrgghh! Will call tomorrow!

edit to add, even on his living social credits it states that 5 went in and then 5 were used on this HMV deal!

Is it possible that you mistyped the first email address. Hopefully they will be able to tell your boyfriend when he calls tomorrow. They should be able to trace from the CC number
ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷

Nope, because I had the welcome to living social email from the first 'account' I made :s hmm! They replied to my email, saying it is an authorised hold of payment and will be released soon ect ect as it's not actually been taken, just held. Looking at the statement it has actually gone :s it's not just a £10 difference in the account to available balance.. How annoying!

I have two of my three orders but the one sent first is still showing as at the hub and has been there since Friday - This is the ipod I ordered and its for christmas. Is HDNL Yodel?

Yodel are terrible, some days they leave it in the bin and others return it to the office and then dont redeliver when requested. Last time I missed a birthday pressie and I had ordered it 3 weeks early!!

    showing as expired now :(
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
  • If you have had money refunded, I should check that your voucher is still valid. Only I have had an email to say that 2 of mine have been cancelled due to suspicious account activity. I purchased 1and my 3 children did, used 3 different cards, but they must have picked up on the address.

Sorry to bring this thread up, but I was wondering if anyone else has had problems getting orders through?

I originally wanted to use my £20 voucher for an xbox steering wheel, however their site shows every single one as out of stock. On furthur investigation agood 90% of the website's stuff is out of stock.

So instead I ordered an xbox live points card, only to find (VIA TWITTER) that they no longer stock them. Note that the item still shows on the website, even today. A twitter user on their @hmvtweets account advised I order 2 of the cheaper cards instead as they were getting stock in.

I ordered them over 2 weeks ago - still showing as pending.

At the time I also ordered a DVD. I received a UMD, only compatible with the Playstation Portable.

Tried getting help from them on twitter again, and was told to tweet their support account, @hmv_service which is inactive. Never received a response.

I've then tried tweeting @hmvtweets a number of times for help, only to be ignored despite them replying to other customers regularly.

This looks to have been a last ditch attempt to get rid of stock before they go bust as they dont seem to be stocking up on anything at all!

Cashflow - if they're short of cash they can't place orders for new stock. A sorry situation, but not a surprising one, sadly.
