  • Hi for those that were charged but had 3 people click their refferal link check your bank I was charged but received a refund this morning so it was free. This was a good deal and thinking it over I guess Living social have to reserve the funds in case people dont get 3 refferal s and giving a refund is the best and easiest way for it to work. Very pleased overall and will defo use living social again

redkids1972 and luciesmummy82 do you mean an actual refund (showing as a charge and then refund on your statement) or merely that they previously reserved the funds and now released them? If you really got refunds was that automatic or did you have to chase them?
  • I had three referrals and on the deal page it stated 'you deal is now free'. However after checking my account, ive been charged and looking back at the deal, they have struck a referral off! I sooo wish i took a screenshot!
A glitch a day, keeps the doc away :)
  • Oh dear, I ordered something that said despatch between 1-3 weeks, thinking that should be fine as I am not in a rush for Christmas but now it states on website as oos. Something tells me they wont want to be wasting money on new stock if things are as bad as the news makes it out :(

I wrote an email a few days ago but had no response but the money they took out has suddenly be credited back to my bank account. I think it must be automatic or they would have emailed me back. Hope you get yours soon.

I emailed them as they had not credited me back the £10 and got this response "Your refund request will be processed and depending upon your banking institution, the refund should be posted to your account within 3-5 business days". Fingers crossed for my refund.
