So a plane load of chavs had to do without beer because the plane was a bit smaller.
Or.0 -
I think you just insulted 300 passengers on that plane, why would you call them all chavs, we where on a short haul plane,29 inch seat pitch, free bar if you only want 2 drinks in 10 hrs, runs out of coffee and tea for what ever reason, by the way how would you define a CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, You may expect some HAN, CHEESE, BREAD ROLLS, TEA OR COFFEE, T COOK have redisgned that to a small BLUEBERRY MUFFIN and SMALL COFFEE.
I UNDER STAND THAT you pay yore money and you take your chance, but this is T COOK not RYAN AIR or EASY JET but aleast on them if you want to by a drink you can.0 -
This is disappointing. Id expect beer to be rationed by package hols but would expect the tea/coffee to be flowing0

No wonder the OP is not going to post on this forum again.
Bob the Saver and Pollycat you were most rude to this person who was only pointing out what happened on his flight and wanted to tell other people.
Don't think for a minute he imagined when he first posted he would come on here to be hassled and questioned by you 2 then for you to agree with him being called a chav is not in keeping with forum rules.
The word Playground comes to mind.0 -

Let's be very clear here - I didn't (and don't) agree with the OP being referred to as a chav.
If you don't like it, take it up with the person who posted it (Mr Wang), don't drag me into it and down with it.
FWIW, I too thought it was rude and I find it very insulting that you have associated that comment with me.
Possibly my first post was a tad tongue-in-cheek but I was trying to find out what the OP's expectations were (his first post was hardly crystal clear on facts) and followed that up with this:edsareg
I think you've taken my comments a tad too literally.
I meant your expectations of what you were going to get were wrong.
Are you saying that if you went to the back of the plane and asked for a free drink you were refused?
If so, what was the reason for refusal?
Did you tell them that your documentation said it was a free bar?
What did Thomas Cook customer service say about it when you complained?
I take it you have complained.....
Since then, I've said (reply # 12) that the OP shouldn't say that all TC long-haul flights run out of tea/coffee unless they do and (reply #14 & #21) asked for proof that 50% of TC flights run out of tea/coffee.
Where is the (almost) rudeness in that?
I was not going to respond further on this thread until the OP had posted proof of his 50% claim (which I doubted would have been forthcoming) - until you had an undeserved side-swipe at me.0 -

.
I would define a continental breakfast the way T Cook have. HAN (??) and CHEESE do not form part of it.
Strictly speaking it's a croissant (or maybe a baguette, no jam or butter) and coffee.
Over the years it's become so debased as to be a meaningless term, meaning whatever the provider chooses.0 -
Not surprising given Thomas Cook's recent cashflow problems!0
-
Thomas Cook generally caters for the chav market. I never called the OP a chav, just said 'a load of chavs' and the fact is I'm probably right.0
-
You said A PLANE LOAD OF CHAVS have a good look at the meaning of CHAVS and tell me why you would insult 300 people like that.0

Have you been to Goa?
I have and it was full of chavtastic individuals. Nip down the road (albeit a very long road) to Kerela and you'll see the difference.0
