If only 50% of them run out of them do you think thats good service.0

If only 50% of them run out of them do you think thats good service.
50%?
What are you basing that percentage on?
Do you have proof that 50% of Thomas Cook long haul flights run out of tea and/or coffee?
If you can tell me the percentage of flights that do run out, I'll tell you whether I think it's good service or not.
Did you ask for a reason why they'd run out of tea & coffee?0 -
Don't forget if you fly via Mumbai the leg to Goa will have no booze at all for a whole hour so I guess that would be totally out of the question.0

BOB THE SAVER
I have no intension of flying via MUMBAI, i am a CHURCH OF ENGLAND PASTOR and i dont drink but i can see it may be a problem fro you.0 -
Why are you trying to defend bad service.0

I'm with you op and can't believe that some people are criticising you for giving other MSE'ers a heads up.
If I was flying longhaul to be told I would be geeting plonked on a short haul plane (along with the associated short haul leg room/entertainment I assume?) I would be outraged. A couple of free cans of beer or soft drinks is not adequate compensation in my book.
Having been warned in advance however it may have been wise to take up the issue with TC prior to travel?0 -
As you can see i am new to this game, i only tried to warn people of the FREE BAR / and the tea and coffee shortages but it looks like some people on here would like to make a living out of trying to defend bad service. So is the last you will hear from me on this site.

Why are you trying to defend bad service.
I'm not trying to defend bad service.
I've asked you if TC gave a reason for running out of tea/coffee.
I've asked you where the proof your statement that:
has come from.If only 50% of them run out of them do you think thats good service.
If it really is 50% of flights, then yes, I do think it's pretty poor service - but I doubt that your 50% is anywhere near accurate.0 -
If someone plonked me on 10-11 hr flight to Goa on short haul plane and to shut me up promised me free drinks which appeared in exactly 2 drinks I would be pretty peed off too.
Bob the builder - no idea what you are reading, but I read OP's post that the only thing available (for charge) after certan time was alcohol and soft (fizzy?) drinks - I tell you my OH would not be happy either as he does not drink stuff like that. I did not read that OP was complaining because he did not get enough alcohol.
Trying to squeeze people on short haul plane for 10-11 hrs, I find that absolutely shocking to start off with. Never mind the empty promises and lack of beverages!!0
