Wrapping Paper - left over from last year
Christmas Cards - Left over from last year
2 Me to you figures, Me to You Mug Set, Mr Men Umbrella, 4 x photograph frames, boxed mug - total £50 used Collectables reward vouchers
Aramani watch which should have been £336 - paid £95 by converting Clubcard vouchers
free mug from Snapfish - only £1.99 postage
Recycled about 5 gifts to various people and also when daughter had a sort out regifted loads of stocking fillers and bulk up presents
Brussell Sprouts and Parsnips - in freezer already :rotfl:
Boots - sadly I amounted £80 on my card but as the card was faulty had to order a new one and it is 4 weeks now and even though rang them 3 times still not got card to spend these - suppose already got theses for next christmas then :beer:
2 gift voucher presents from HMV 1 for £30 and 1 for £10 obtained through O2 priority moments (£5 for every £20 you spend)
Free ipone 4s for hubby (upgraded his Contract even though I told him he was not alllowed)
Think there might be a couple more but cannot think, if there is they are only small

Clipperty - surprised you've had problems with Boots, I lost my card and reported it and they moved my points over and sent out a new card in a matter of days. Maybe worth reporting it lost!

What a fab thread!

I've not spent:

- £64 ish on £95ish worth of Body Shop stuff - due to sales, offers, my LYB discount, going on a special discount day and also them thinking it was my birthday (not my fault they can't read!)and a couple of other bits and basically taking loads of money off

- £20 on little chocolate bits to bulk up people's presents using Clubcard vouchers

- £20 on Christmas meal out with friends by converting Clubcard vouchers

- £20 towards various gifts on Amazon from scan vouchers

- £50 in Boots by taking FULL advantage of the 3 for 2 offers, plus made approx £30 in points by cleverly maximising my shopping to take advantage of points vouchers

Can't think of anything else!

Couldn't resist answering this one. I've spent nothing on:
- presents
- christmas cards
- tree and/or decorations
- wrapping paper
- crackers
- anything else specifically christmassy

Never been a fan of the whole festive experience, so now I deliberately and consciously opt out.
Some nice food and more socialising than normal..... that I do.

Ive not spent goodness knows how much on an Xmas tree as a tree in the garden needs pruning so Im going to make a christmas tree out of that! I told the kids (all teenagers) that its environmentally friendly as there are no 'tree miles' and as its a bay tree we can recycle the leaves by drying them for cooking and burn the wood on the fire!!!!

Have used Tesco/Nectar points for all food and drink. Wrapping paper and cards are left over from last year and bought in the sales.

We do Secret Santa for adults so have spent £40.00 on adult gifts and £140.00 for grandchildren and stepgrandchildren. Means that the bulk of my £60.00 saved each month will provide me, OH and lunatic staffie with a short break in the new year.

Tags (cut up last years xmas card with pinking shears - They look really Pretty)
booze/drink courtesy of my company office suppliers (a thank voucher - £30 quid)

Tree from last year
Wrapping paper from 2 years ago
Christmas cards - didn't send.
2 presents were regifted.
Earned cashback on all presents bought online
Got discounts where ever possible.

Just done "How tight are you quiz and scored higher than Martin! So:

Not spent £10 on 3 bird roast from Tesco for Christmas Day - used gift card earned from online surveys.
Made cookies for work colleagues rather than send cards.
Bought other Christmas cards in Jan sales.
Saved £20 on Kindle for son's birthday earlier this month using Nectar points and now have £5 Argos voucher to spend on Christmas (or a Jan sale bargain!).
Saved £15 on Amazon order from gift card earned from Amazon credit card points.
Shopped around for best price for online books - not always cheapest at Amazon.
Secret Santa was from a 3 for 2 offer.
Will make all tags as usual, and reuse wrapping as far as possible.
Saved money on work Christmas meal by booking it to start before 7pm.
Will save money on texts at Christmas as swithched SIM have 50texts/month plus 25 mins for £1/month (around my usual spend but only got 10 texts for same money on PAYG). Phone was 1p earlier this year with £10 top up!

Bought cards & gift wrap in sales after last Christmas, used same decorations & tree as last year (and years before that too lol), hand delivered as many cards as possible, did charity donation rather than cards for work colleagues. Wore last year's outfit to office christmas party (timeless little black dress). Intend to be even more MSE next Christmas so thanks for all your good ideas! Happy Christmas everyone xx
