Sounds like a good outcome for the honest, hard working taxpayer not to support sponger layabouts. Are your multiple personalitys multiplying at a faster rate ?

Must be up for a category in the 2012 comedy awards, best newcomer perhaps?0 -
It's Xmas and we need to agree on some things ... I've put a few facts together:-
1. Houses are selling very fast in the South.
2. Currently, houses are not selling in the North.
3. House prices in the South are moving upwards - actual selling.
4. Currently, houses are not selling for any price in the North.
5. People are spending plenty in the South.
6. People cannot rub two pennies together in the North.
7. Jobs are available in the South, we cannot get applicants.
8. Jobs are as rare as rocking horse poo in the North.
Want to add some more facts in this time of peace and goodwill?
Area dependent in the south...I am in the south of the country and house prices are at best static in my local area, more expensive houses are still falling. Although the lower priced properties are now starting to sell fairly well, flats and terraced especially in the less 'posh' areas (we are weird here, we tend to do the opposite of everywhere else!)
Pennies are not plentiful for a fair amount of people here.
I know of several people applying for jobs with no luck....it was in our paper recently that a new place opened and for every vacancy, they had at least 10 people applying (10 for the less glamourous ones, into the 100's for the better ones)We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Sensible post, Sue.
It is area dependant, yes, maybe - there are bad areas of the South too.
But, where people want to live the prices are getting silly - I am now hearing reports of Contracts races for the better properties!!
As for jobs - we cannot get, for love nor money (and we offer a reasonable package) - anyone we can use. We do need highly skilled, highly intelligent, people ......... but, for those, the future is fantastic!Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0
