Parking CN - Money Claim Online?

Hi there, I previously posted about a PCN received in JULY this year from ##. So far 6 letters have been received and all completely ignored. Recently received is a "Claim Form" with Northampton County court printed on and theMonetclaimonline.gov.uk stamped on it. There is no letter just a form to return, with spelling mistakes may I add.

Is this something to worry about, the online claim thing? Raised my concerns slightly as it seems to be further than others have taken it? This was an ANPR ticket in a residents only bay outside a local shop where some bays are reserved for residents.

Will anything happen? Should I write a letter?? Help!

Is there any court stamp on it and a court reference? If there isn't anything like that then it is another blatent attempt at scaring you. If there is then check with the court to see if it is a live case.

It should have a number and a password so you can check it is genuine, have you checked?
  • There is a case number but the court stamp appears to have been printed on and bears no date. Would it be wise to register on the website and reject the claim?

Were it says "important note" paragraph 4 should be a password so you can check it online!
  • I have created an account and the claim is live, what should I do? Start formulating a defense?
  • That picture is exactly the same...what should I do?

All you need to do at the moment is fill the form in saying you will be defending the whole claim it will then be moved to your local court. However if you could PM the case number to a member here with a high post count so we know it is a genuine case. I am not doubting you but it has been known for these companies to post fictional cases.
Once you have said you intend to defend the whole claim you will have plenty of time to get help with a defence.

  • I can promise it is a real case, I mistook the website and the original post is actually on consumer action group, search for sussex security solutions, username wurg - as i cannot post links on here!

The actually trolled me on there when I posted this!

I'd rather not give out the password etc just yet as its rather personal and looks legit.
