I have tried parking in Aldi and leaving the car whilst i shop elsewhere, ive parked over the lines in Asda, and ive dumped my van in Iceland's car park all to no avail, what am i doing wrong please?

Leave your car for more time than allowed in a PPC car park like Lidl. Try the same at Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda etc. Most of them are camera controlled so you need to drive past the camera ultra slowly to be sure they get your number and be sure you're a good half hour over the limit.

Don't pay in a non-barrier'd NCP P&D car park and instead of taking 2 bays width-wise, take up 3 lengthwise. Park in motorcycle bays, yellow hatched areas, etc.

Seriously though, its getting harder to get booked by any of them. I am STILL taking the **** regularly at one of the above mentioned companies car parks and they're still not getting me. I've even been a naughty boy at the local hospital too. I can't take the guilt much more.. I might start actually paying!

I have tried so hard to get a private fake PCN ticket in the local car park where there's a PPC camera but no joy.

And in another where the limit is 2 hrs I may have overstayed a few times but NEVER find a little love-note from a PPC on my windscreen.

So I can still only report collecting the one fake PCN from a Supermarket 3 years ago. :p

You ain't trying hard enough then CM!

You have to park really crazily... eg lengthwise across 3 bays.. that kinda thing.

Heck.. even write to the company and grass yourself up annonymously!

Yes but the thing is I couldn't be so inconsiderate as to park across more than one bay - as I have no beef with other customers and they would be the ones to suffer...or bump my car!

Good idea about grassing though - how about pointing out your own car to the fake 'warden' and say 'that car has been there since this morning...' :D

Be careful some places may clamp you, which will be inconvenient if you want your car back in a hurry!

Otherwise if you have plenty of time you could try a motorway service station, though you need to be there for over two hours!

Yes but I would never go near a place with a clamping sign up precisely because they are money-grabbing scum.

Email your reg number to Perky, or Mr Haswell, I'm sure they may oblige with an invoice and court papers even if you weren't there.
