A learn to break-dance £3 DVD and Little book of cockney rhyming slang (£2) for my 'cool' boss0

I have one to buy for this weekend and although I have seen the chap once a week at a group I attended for over a year I havent got a clue what to get!
I dont want anything risky or embaracing as I respect the man, but something a little bit quirky that will last or is useful is ok. All I know about him is hes between 55 and 69, a retired retained fireman and into spiritualism (the group was a psychic / medium circle which sadly has now closed for good earlier this month).
The limit is £5 any ideas anyone?!
ThanksFailure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.
If its important to you, you'll find a way - if not, you'll find an excuse ! ~ Easy to say when you take money out of the equation!

I got one of the students last year - who was always going AWOL- I made him a hat with bells on so we knew where he was and a cardboard box full of alcholic things made up to look like an emergency box.
This year I got one of the grads, who worries a lot (even though she is brilliant), so I bought her a load of keep calm and carry on stuff
I got a box of HariboSomebody knws me well

My former boss bought me a necklace, which at the time I liked but didnt think too much of it.
I was in H Samuels a few weeks after receiving it and saw it.... for £480.
I could not believe it, I even asked the shop assistant to check if it was exactly the same as the one in the shop, which see later confirmed.
After knowing this it was very hard to act normal around him. I left a few weeks later, sure he was !!!!ed off.Where would we be without tea?0 -

I bought from poundland two books that are in plastic sleeves RRP £22.99 both books are about spiritualism, things like that a very good bargain and perfect to read at leisure0 -
Go to amazon books advanced search. In the title section put in the name of the person the gift is intended for and it will come up with loads of books with the name of the person in the title. When you've found a book you fancy check out the used section. I've done this twice now one for Brenda and got Brendas Place, about a woman who wanted to be a hairdresser. BTW her hubby was a hairdresser. This year it was for Caroline and I got a book called A Christmas Caroline both sub £4 including delivery!!!!!! A cheap personal gift. Both books were hardback and in excellent condition.0

I like that one! Great idea! One more for birthdays given the time of her, but DH has done this for a few people (well, females in the family) a rose named after that person. There seems to be a rose for nearly every name. Maybe not so good for planting just now tho!0 -
