I ordered the following ear rings for Xmas on the 24th Nov, as per the grouping T&C as stated below.
Valid from Thu 24 November 2011 at 8pm. Order online at http://www.vanamsteldiamond.co.uk/oorbellen/4-mm-swarovski-studs-laser-scribed.html
. Includes postage. Allow 10 working days for delivery.
10 days has come and gone and on the www.vanamsteldiamond.co.uk website it states the ear rings are still been made and to allow ~20 days???
I purchased these ear rings based on a 10 day delivery stated by Groupon not a 20 day delivery stated by the website. They also now state on their website that they may not be delivered before Xmas. If they don't arrive by Xmas all hell is going to break loose. I think people need to be aware of the problems I have had and think twice before jumping at Groupon's tempting offers. looking at previous posts about this company and recent press it doesn't give you much confidence.

Important notice. 80-100% of the above jewels will be shipped before christmas. This means that you will receive the package around christmas, but not necessarily before christmas. This is also due to that the postal companies will be very busy.
I will post again as soon as I get a response from either Groupon or www.vanamsteldiamond.co.uk regarding this contradiction in delivery times, my first thoughts is that if people knew their items may not be delivered before Xmas they would not have bothered in the first place and Groupon would not have made so much money from this so-called deal (just my opinion)

I would complain to Groupon and make them aware of the 'false advertising' rule. Whenever I have had a problem with my groupons, I have sent an Email to [EMAIL="support@groupon.co.uk"]support@groupon.co.uk[/EMAIL] and received my money back or been creditted compensation to my account without hassle.

Thanks parky0607, I have tried to contact them without any luck. I will hopefully hear from them in the next few days, It's just a pain as I will have to go and buy another present that I thought was already sorted.0

I hope you hear from Groupon soon. I have claimed back from Groupon in the past with no problem but I know people more recently who are having trouble getting a response from Groupon, even when the item they bought is out of stock and the company won't be getting any more in!!
I have had a couple of bad experiences now with Groupon and KGB which makes me cautious of buying any more deals - still like to browse for the bargains though0 -
I too ordered these earing based on the 10 day delivery claim, Ive emailed them and got an automated response as you have put above, stating they now are being "made" yeah right! im concerned too they wont arrive before xmas but as groupon are good I wouldnt worry email support@groupon and they will probably refund you to your account, Im going to wait another week and if no answer then Ill message them, Ive got another three orders im not happy with or havent recieved from companies through groupon this month, printmonkey t shirts, the bottle holder chain and i got the grip watch which is nothing more than a broken piece of junk, ive stopped ordering from groupon for a while as I think some of the sellers are selling tat at the moment..0

The deal was for around £18, which sounds good but that's only ok if comes before Xmas.0

Hi nickem, had a quick nosy at the website in the first post and noticed that it describes the earrings and cubic zirconia, when Swarovski stones are crystal, which you might be able to use in your discussions with Groupon/the retailer. Good luck and really hope it gets resolved.Currently renovating our first home, so every penny counts! :j0

It would not shock me if they turned out to be plastic, either way I will be getting a refund as I have already purchased a replacement present. If there is any problems I will make it my mission to make sure people are aware of the problems we are having with groupon. I will not take a credit as I will never be using them again.0

I ordered these too (eventually when the website was working) and actually emailed them yesterday about delivery and got a bog standard response directing em to the information on the website.
Am thinking of claiming a refund with Groupon.0
