I was briefly with them on payg.I tried customer service number once and nobody picked up after 10 mins,so i gave up.Would never trust them for a monthly contract.
Avoid like a plague especially if you do not have time to make a phone call, send email, involve in argument, etc. It is a dodgy company ......
Look at here what other people have said

I do not normally just believe what other people have said but after my own experience, I could just echo negative things those people have said.
If you do not believe that, just try and please report your experience back to this forum to let people know ....
They took my monthly payment twice by employing "recurring, payment" which is notoriously known have been used by dodgy organization like online casino/gambling, loan shark company ....
I got my money back after fight them back using my bank (HSBC) online banking team. I am lucky to use HSBC debit card at that time as HSBC wants to spend time to investigate this kind of issue. Also I need to change my Debit Card
It was just £1.50 but since it is a recurring payment, it is dangerous as if you do not stop it will be taken from your account each month indefinitely .... It took me a huge effort to stop this payment ....
NEVER EVER GIVE YOUR DEBIT/CREDIT CARD DETAIL TO THEM ..
(you have been warned)
If you order a SIM card from them for monthly payment, they ask you to provide the Credit card or Debit Card detail, They will state clearly in their payment site that they will only do take the first payment by DC/CC and the next payment will be by direct debit. Bu tyou will find out the following month you will be charged by DD as well as recurring Debit Card using the detail that you have submitted.
For monthly payment you might find your number is blocked so you will not be able to use it but you you will still be charged the following month ....0 -
If you use the card PAYG credit never expires at any network (unless it is some bundle or a 'goodybag' like at giffgaff).
That's just it, I cannot find anywhere in the Vectone website that states whether or not credit can expire. This has been an 'article of faith'' with Virgin PAYG, though their site too avoids a clear confirmation, it only talks about "some Top Up vouchers may have an expiry date".
Strong stuff @adindas above, I assume adindas was 'bitten' by Vectone once and there is no recent evidence that Vectone have mended their ways?0 -
Vectone Mobile Network is DOWN Again !! - No 999 Calls being Taken !! 17th May 2013 at 15:450

They have no 'network' they use Orange/EE, so if it is down in your area, move to another. There isn't a national outage ATM.0
