Guys I am doing so rubbish at this challenge, how is everyone else finding it, I see you are all potting in lots of £2 coins but are you finding them easy to come by?

Nope..... not one for over a fortnight and only 19 in 3 months..... very slow. Who do we write to to ask for more to be minted?:D

Just did a bit of a g**gle and discovered

"As of January 2009 there were an estimated 331.5 million £2 coins in circulation."
and by year

• 2008 ~ 13,256,000
• 2009 ~ 30,107,000
• 2010 ~ 11,700,000
• 2011 ~ 3,185,000 were made..... so who has got them all?:eek::eek::eek:

Morning All :hello:

A little flurry of coins for me at the weekend. I bagged 4 of the lovelys.

One from the lovely people at Costa Saturday morning, then I got one in the cinema as I took DS to see Star Wars in 3D as a treat for doing well at school.

Then yesterday I got two in change at toddler group with DD.

Unfortunately I had to part with one :doh:as I bought DS a Beavers pencil & pad and couldn't justify spending £2.25 on the debit card

So anyway, it's another £6 for me taking my total up to £42 and meaning I can rush myself off over to me "other challenge" (extra payment a week) and pay £20 off on the nasty credit card/ :dance:

Hi havent been posting but I have still been getting some although most of mine are bought from my mum nearly every day she has one for me so now I am at £46! I think once I am at £100 I will use it to reduce my overdraft.
