They really are like buses, I went to 5 shops today and got a £2 coin in my change in every single one. Plus the sister had another 2 for me. Not sure I can afford this :rotfl:

Hi everyone

Had to stock up on food as barely spent any money last week (£14 of last week's £30 budget went on £2 coins!). My food stock up was going to leave me with £7-odd to live off until Friday, but then I received x2 £2 in my change, ARGH! I was cutting it fine anyway, only leaving myself £7 until Friday, but now it's only £3... scary stuff!

Still, I guess a challenge is a challenge right?! If it were easy there wouldn't be such a feeling of satisfaction at what I've saved. Up to £40 now

another £2 in my lovely jar taking my total to £36 very very chuffed with it! although i do think my excitement at receiving £2 coins in my change at the shops needs to be a little more contained......

think I only had 1 coin in February so hopefully this month will be a bit better I've just put my first coin in the tin for March x
