Got x5 (£10) this week by pure luck and just kinda cheated tonight for another x2 (£4)... had to give myself change from the till in my second job having bought myself a snack... decided to give myself it in x2 £2 coins (change was exactly £4) as I knew if I did this it will prevent me spending the money tomorrow (my last day of my weekly budget), forcing me to save it. :A

This leaves me with only 31p to live off tomorrow but I'm sure I'll cope, there's food in the fridge! Lol

Thanks for congrats on coat, it is more of a mac for spring, from Marks, I will save for my winter coat after our June holiday.I have not had a new coat of any kind for years, and now it looks like this year I will have not one but two and it is all down to this thread,I honestly have had no hardship saving these coins but I would have found it hard to stump up 70 odd pounds in notes for something for myself.

Seems like I haven't checked in for ages .... but I managed to haul 4 beautiful £2 coins today bringing my total up to £50 which I'm really chuffed about seeing that has only taken two months and like others have said you don't miss saving the odd £2 coin here and there but it soon adds up

Finally another one for me now upto £8.00, think i may need to start "buying" themoff friends, but it seems most of them are saving them up, surprises me there is'nt a shortage of £2 coins.x

I have added another 7 lovely £2 coins added to my pretty £2 pot last night after my WW meeting - I swapped them for a £10 note and 4 £1 coins
My total is now sitting at £112 :j
