Well this morning has had a mixed start. I was reading my course book in bed, so hence have done a little bit of studying. :T

Then I got into the shower to be told by DH that water was leaking into the kitchen  So we've pulled apart the bathroom, and it just looks like water was running off the side of the bath and dripping down the hole where the central heating pipe runs. *phew* So now, just to think of a solution to stop the water from coming off the side of the bath. We can't put up a screen as there are pipes in the way, so it's just a shower curtain.

Oh my goodness Jwil that is awful..will your insurance cover it. Check your policy as we had a leak in our water tank and had emergency call out cover. They arrived very quickly and sorted it out.

Thanks ebayqueen - it's nothing really so not a problem thankfully. The water from the shower running has just run over the side of the bath onto the floor, so it's not as bad as it first looked. *phew*

Hi jwil..if I am picturing it right it may be what we have..we just wrap the curtain 'around the corner' if you know what I mean and hold it in place with a flannel so the water cannot get out and onto the floor..this workaround has lasted for years now..as I cannot bear to use my OP pot for a new bathroom!!

Have a lovely day and well done re the coursework. Am sure the last assignment wasn't as bad as you thought it was?

    Hi Jwil and everyone,

Glad the leak wasn't too bad, Jwil!

I got up early today and had the food shopping done and put away by 9am. Have done various other jobs and am now having a quick break before going out to do some work in the garden.

When I went out this morning, I had to scrape frost off the car and the greenhouse temperature dipped to -2.5 last night. Gorgeous out there now, though, it's so much nicer when the sun shines isn't it? :)

I don't bother selling the magazines, unless there is something special about them. This batch I've got aren't in particularly good nick either so they will be out for recycling.

Are you allowed to give blood? That's how I found out my type. I'm not allowed to any more though :(

Hmm don't know whether i can give blood or not

Glad your leak is easily sortable - we have to be very careful in our bathroom until it can be replaced otherwise it leaks also  :(

Well Done on the study time!

Peaceandfreedom - well done on getting so much done and i agree its better when the sun shines - we have rain today and dark clouds.

Thanks Brizzle, it sounds like the same thing. I do usually try and put the curtain round, but I probably wasn't careful enough this morning. Never thought of weighting it down though, so I'll try that.

Seriously, the assignment was that bad :o It was only about 1/3rd the length it should have been. I'm not going to worry about it though, even a handful of marks is better than none.

Hope you have a good day too :)

Have a good afternoon in the garden p&f, it was frosty here this morning too, but it does make a big difference when the sun shines :)

Hmm don't know whether i can give blood or not

Mine's due to my epilepsy. I must look if I can again though now, as I'm not on medication any more and haven't had a fit for a few years now.

Hmm, just looking at it, I may be able to again now, will have to speak to them and ask.

    Ooh..turning chilly now..:(

Question is...to put the heating on or not..feel I may give way soon! May try and cope with just the woodburner and then go to bed early!
