Just quickly popping in to say . I've haven't kept up to date with all the ins and outs but will try to do so. I hope you are all keeping well and that the Bay of E and Amaz*n sales are doing well and money is rolling in :D

Have a great break this weekend and :easter_os without doing too much of this :EasterBun

Hey retired  How's things going?

Hope you have a lovely Easter too :)

Amazon is rubbish for me at the moment, I need to look through my listings, I haven't sold anything for a while now.

Ah, well you see, we DO have a water butt but the downpipe leading to it is broken - OH was going to fix that .......

You are right though, I need to put better water collection systems in place, especially when I have the raised beds done.

At our previous house we had one which wasn't connected to a downpipe, it was surprising how much water it still collected. Though we didn't have a big garden, so if it was, it probably wouldn't have lasted very long.

Jwil - you are right that the important thing is you handed something in - good luck with the next one too :)

I believe it to be 4 days of free listings - i think anyways double check before you get charged and my name is mud :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I thought lovely 25 items a day - although i have nothing to list :( and i really need the pennies too.

Today, i am being a little trooper :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - i am in agony _pale_ - what is it with me? i was sick the other night, have had a dodgy tummy for weeks and last night in bed trying to get to sleep - and alone i might add for you sniggering at the back there ;) I got an awful pain in my back - like a part of my back getting really tight :( I could really do with feeling well for a change - although i'd probably wonder what was wrong as i can't remember what that feels like :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

But i have moved the pots  angry face as this is 1 thing OH did do for a couple of weeks - although he moved like half of the pots he could never or to be fair very, very rarely move every item. Put the washing on. Cleared the kitchen table. Cleaned out under the sink. And am now sat up supported by lots of cushions :o

peaceandfreedom - I was going to plant those seeds out - the backpain is not what stopped me its the cold - we had snow here the other day and the wind is like a blast of ice so as they can be planted out up until mid-mat i'm going to leave it until its a bit warmer for them.

I did go to an event however :) and bagged myself some free cress, mustard and herbs - all happily being watered, kept moist etc. by moi - they were all planted up / papered over too so how fab is that ? :D

retiredandskint - hope you have a good easter weekend too :D

Wow, 4 days of free listing? Really??? That's good, but a pain too as I wanted to just add a load to turbolister which would be quicker. It also means there will be loads on there so my sales won't do so well

Sorry to hear you are feeling rough though :( Look after yourself. Maybe you should speak to the doc - did you get your thyroid checked again in the end?

My DH very rarely does all the dishes either  He always leaves whatever I need most as well. It's very frustrating!

Woo to free seeds though :T

Well done on coming up with a plan - and with your track record, I know you'll do it. Definitely have that relax-and-potter day, Jwil.

Over the Easter weekend I intend to do lots of gardening, whatever the weather. And also get a long-neglected job out of the way. And I love the sound of a relax-and-potter day, might try that one myself. :)

Am considering another car boot on Sunday - Easter Sunday, the place will be packed. Will have to find some more stuff to sell though.

Sounds like a good weekend planned P&F. Do try the relax and potter days - I always find that I'm way more productive when I decide to do that. And if I'm not, well I've relaxed which was the plan anyway :)

We are hoping to do at least one car boot this weekend too, fingers crossed the weather improves. I'm thinking that because it's easter sunday many people won't sell as they have stuff planned, but they will still find time to pop out for a mooch about!

Aw, DDFW, hope your back is better and that you feel well very soon. It's horrible to keep being unwell with one thing or another.

Yay on bagging some freebies. I haven't sown many outdoor seeds either - I've got some in the greenhouse and some indoors. I've sown some sunflowers and sweet peas outside but they should be OK and in any case I have some 'back-up' seeds which I'll be sowing later in the greenhouse.

It's so cold at the moment, we've had the heating on during the day for the first time in ages. The scorching temperatures and sunshine of last week seem like a long time ago now. :(

It's odd that isn't it, it's like they are pathalogically incapable of finishing the job. My OH likes to soak things, including things that would be clean with a quick wipe. They are always left on the draining-board as well, never EVER dried and put away.

    Sigh, I'm moaning again. :o

I like your thinking! I think you're right, I think there'll be plenty of buyers, especially the car boot I go to which has a big injection of tourists around Easter. The weather is looking pretty good for Sunday too.

Moan away :) It helps to vent sometimes. I can't moan too much though as I am quite naturally lazy myself and have plenty of faults too :o

Yep fingers crossed we all make our millions! DH is saying he's not keen on the idea of Sunday but we may do one tomorrow instead. It's not a big one, but gets a lot of buyers and only lasts an hour or two.

DDFW - you are right, it is 4 days of free listings! Still 100 max though. It's showing on my ebay page.

Oh well, as long as I list for what I want for the items, then I can't complain if they sell can I? ;)
