I've cleared out a few more bits this morning and done some listing, and am now shredding a load of old paperwork whilst having a good old singalong to the Phantom of the Opera. I'm sure DH thinks he's in the theatre as I'm so good :D

Thanks DDFW, it's helping that DH is on a roll as well, so we're getting loads done :T :T

I agree it is so much easier to get on and do things when my fella is a mood to 'get things done' too - which is a very rare event mind bless him :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So i *have done 30 minutes crochet :D I have sorted out the 1 newly listed item ready to go on - an unexpected contribution from OH :)

And now i think i'll make a start on tea whilst i have the energy to do so

And then i might have a little read - decluttering books you see ready to list for sale :)

We went booting this morning, but didn't sell as the weather was looking iffy. I was very good and didn't buy anything :A

We sold at a car boot on Sunday morning and I must say that if I'd realised the weather would be so rubbish I wouldn't have bothered. That said, we made £60 so it was fine. Will take a break from them for a while though. I have a pile of stuff ready to go to the charity shop now and more stuff to sell on ebay. :)
  • peaceandfreedom - hi how's the garden coming on? i'm getting very excited about the seeds on my window ledge sprouting away :D
It's so exciting to see seeds coming up isn't it? :j

The garden is coming along - I transplanted lots of plants from the area where the raised beds are going to be and also did lots of digging and weeding. The rain yesterday watered in the moved plants nicely and the bulbs I've just planted.

The potato plants have justed poked their noses up above the soil, nearly all the raspberry plants have sprouted leaves and there are loads of seedlings on the go now, it's great. :)

I invested some of the car boot proceeds in two new propagators so I can get lots more seeds started now too. :j

Wow, this is excellent work, Jwil. The declutter target is amazing - though I think I've reached this myself now between the car boots and the charity shop stuff. I admire your dedication towards the magazine decluttering. :D

    Hope you're ok jwil?

Peaceandfreedom you have done loads! I bet it feels good getting rid of things and £60 is a good amount for a poor weather day at the carbooty :T

It would actually be a lot more than that as some of the 'items' were bundles of stuff that I couldn't be bothered to count individually. It was a good productive weekend though, and well done on clearing all your stuff too :T

The magazine decluttering is very hard work naturally, but luckily I just flicked through quite a few to see if there was anything interesting, hence getting rid of so many. I wasn't reading them all cover to cover :D
