Things I want to do when I'm off:
Clean house and try and tidy back lots of stuff
Get some more stuff sorted for ebay
Read lots of books to declutter and put out for sale
Catch up with Fringe
Watch Bag of Bones miniseries
Do some exercise
Maybe paint kitchen (unlikely but want to do)
Do next OU assignment and look out books for next course.
You sound as busy as i do :rotfl:0 -
Still haven't picked up the prescription, so must do that tomorrow. My secret santa pressie seems to have gone down well so that's all good. I got a nice gift, but it's of no use to me really as I don't really drink alcohol and I don't drink hot drinks. I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet.
I've just redeemed £5 amazon from BP, which is the first for a while.
Last day at work tomorrow before Christmas, woo hoo!
Ooh - i feel the need to guess what your prezzie is :rotfl::rotfl: i'm guessing mulled wine but i could be wrong :rotfl::rotfl: - Its a shame that it isn't something you will use. This is my bugbear with the secret santa - i do really try and get the person i have something they'll like - and this year due to my super savvy shopping they ended up with about £15 worth of gifts for a fiver. The person who is getting mine has said they'll bring it in in the new year *rolly eyes* apparently they have got it hmm... and whats the betting it'll just be a bottle of wine? I've even had people in the past spend £1 and say 'well the budget is up to £5'.. erm no! :rotfl::rotfl: Oh dear! Again i think this is one of those things where i'd rather use my £5 more usefully and my money is so tight that things get to me more than when i have plenty of surplus cash...
Oops - apologies for ranting on your thread hon
Well done on BP! :j:j:j

hi dfw321 - hope your gift is something really nice
the person who's got mine still hasn't brought it in - they've just said (again) 'i'll just bring it in in the new year, its all wrapped and everything' Hmm - they aren't making excuses about forgetting it every day or anything and not even suggested bringing it tomorrow - which is why i'm a bit :undecided over it all.
Contemplating taking the tightness test on this weeks e-mail but i know how i am with money so its not going to tell me anything i don't knowPlus time is of the essence and all that
I have a last minute gift to pick up tomorrow - basically i was all organised and was going to give the person cash to choose what they wanted in the sale and a little prezzie too but have now decided it'll be better for them to get a gift - aftershave - so its just a matter of picking that up whilst i'm out and about anyways. Other than that though all prezzies are wrapped - just a few more cards to write and i'm all set

I did have some more to add earlier but have forgotten now, so it can't have been that important!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -

That's really annoying about the secret santa and it's out of order as well not bringing it in.
Mine was a mug with hot chocolate, some mini chocolates and a mini bottle of baileys. A nice gift, but not something I will use sadly.
Well done on being organised though! I haven't done the tightness test, I might have a go though.
And I finally got the prescription :j
I'm off out tonight, and I don't really want to go. I've had to take food which is fine, but I don't eat what I was asked to bring, and I'm not in the mood really. I'm sure it will be fine when I'm there though!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -

You are 33% tight"You're a little loose with your cash, a bit of belt tightening wouldn't hurt."
Hmm, it's probably true, but half of it's not relevant to me, and some I would never do - I wouldn't hide to get out of a round, I just refuse to buy them. I don't see the need to grab freebies that I don't need - I don't see how that makes me less 'tight', just not wasteful."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
