  • All jobs are done and it's such a nice feeling. The mince pies are made, the giblet stock for the gravy is made, the house is all clean and tidy (well, most of it!), pretty much everything is done, there is a nice log fire burning in the grate, the Christmas candle is lit and I am about to have a little tipple.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE. :j
  • Happy Christmas Jwil and DDfw...am away over Christmas and will catch up when I get back.

    God bless all.

Thanks everyone, we had a lovely day, and I hope you all did.

There was one problem though - we went out for a walk in the afternoon and both of us forgot to take a key. So when we came back we had to break in  all sorted now though, we have a window to replace but the house is all secure as there is another door after the window. Numpties!

I had some lovely pressies though and we just had a very relaxed day.

I did sell one item on ebay yesterday and we did relist everything last night.

  • Hi jwil - nice to hear you had a lovely day and a lovely walk too - even if you had to break back in  - was it last year that you got the kindle for chrimble?

I had overall a lovely day filled with nice food and lovely presents - the only disappointing thing was i was a little poorly - and today i'm alot poorly _pale_ I am just grateful i wasn't too ill to enjoy the day to be honest :T And am now curled up on the couch with the heating on full :o I actually think i've got 2 bugs as the symptoms are so odd to have together - a full on bad throat, a cold, achey body, blocked sinuses etc. And a very upset tummy  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: oh well i'll just stay curled up for today i think. Typical to get ill when i'm off work though - a sign i've been doing too much i think. Never mind.

Hope everyone is well and enjoyed a lovely xmas xx
