Glad you had a nice day, Jwil, we had a good day here too. I got lots of nice presents which I'm very pleased with and all the kids were delighted with their haul as well.
I took over the cooking of the Christmas dinner and it was delicious. Spent a nice evening watching TV and chilling, and plan to to much of the same today.
DDFW, what a shame you are unwell - you stay curled up on that sofa and get better soon.
Hope everyone enjoys a nice restful few days over the rest of the festive season.

I had overall a lovely day filled with nice food and lovely presents - the only disappointing thing was i was a little poorly - and today i'm alot poorly _pale_ I am just grateful i wasn't too ill to enjoy the day to be honest :T And am now curled up on the couch with the heating on fullI actually think i've got 2 bugs as the symptoms are so odd to have together - a full on bad throat, a cold, achey body, blocked sinuses etc. And a very upset tummy  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: oh well i'll just stay curled up for today i think. Typical to get ill when i'm off work though - a sign i've been doing too much i think. Never mind.
Hope everyone is well and enjoyed a lovely xmas xx

Glad you've had a good Christmas as well peaceandfreedom, snuggling around watching TV is pretty much what we've been up to as well."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
As I mentioned, we've been having a relaxing couple of days watching TV and DVDs. As a result we've managed to declutter a few DVDs which we've watched and now will put out for sale. DH has been tackling his huge pile of papers and magazines and got rid of a few.
He's also cleared out much of the front room so it looks almost clear. It makes such a difference. I keep saying how much I like it, and it should stay that way, but somehow I doubt it will.
The other day I rearranged the boxes in the extension, so it looks a lot more spacious and clear out there. It's funny how much a difference a bit of restacking can make!
We are meeting friends for dinner tonight so that should be nice."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
[STRIKE]Clean house and try and tidy back lots of stuff [/STRIKE]- pretty much done all I'd hoped to do. May tackle some more next week.
Get some more stuff sorted for ebay
Read lots of books to declutter and put out for sale
Catch up with Fringe
[STRIKE]
Watch Bag of Bones miniseries:D
[/STRIKE]Do some exercise
Maybe paint kitchen (unlikely but want to do)
Do next OU assignment and look out books for next course.
Start rug kit
[STRIKE]Wrap presents[/STRIKE]

I went into town this morning as I had some Christmas money, and I've decided I was looking for a bag and some trainers. I mooched around pretty much every shop and came back without a bag or trainers. I hate shopping  I'm not into handbags and stuff, or fashion, but I know in my head what I want. I couldn't find it anywhere, and so was really fed up. I just want a nice bag that looks reasonably smart and carries lots of stuff. Nothing shiny or with silly tassels or fancy bits. I'm so not a girly girl :rotfl:
Anyway, I did spend some vouchers in boots and came away with lots of smellies to last me throughout the year which means I don't have to buy them for a while :T"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -

Shocking nights sleep last night, so am shattered today.
I sold a few bits on ebay last night and a book on amazon so will be out packing and posting those today as well. I'm going to try and get a few bits listed, to make a start on that.
Hope everyone is well!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Hi Jwil,
Good to see your ebay and amazon sales are still going strong.
I have had a very lazy couple of days and it'sbeen great. I do plan to do SOME useful stuff today though.
A bit of housework and a bit of paperwork (need to bill people or I won't get any money in!) and a bit of general messing about on the laptop.
I got a Kindle for Christmas and I have to say I'm loving it already, it's great. :j Any tips on using it Jwil would be most welcome, seeing as you're an expert.
Have a great day everyone.

Have a good day
Glad Ebay/Amazon are doing well :Dx0 -
Glad you had a nice break peaceandfreedom, and yay to the Kindle! I'm not sure I have any specific tips as it's generally straightforward, but if you have any queries just shout. Calibre is a free program to download which you can use to convert pdfs and other books in the wrong format. Hope you enjoy it!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0
