Grrr, one of my ebay parcels has arrived broken. So I've sent a full refund to the buyer. It's obviously my fault, but it's a bit annoying.
On the good side though, I was looking through my amazon inventory yesterday, and there was a book on there which I've had on there for ages. I figured it wasn't going to sell now, so probably ought to take it off. Well I didn't, and it's now sold! :T It's a nice price too, so there's a nice £20-odd for me"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Hi jwil, peaceandfreedom, LAM, ebayqueen and everyone
I should be pleased to have gotten to the end of a very busy week but i think i'm just too tired to appreciate it right now:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:and have come over all emotional
I have been reading (on my phone) so am up to speed but haven't had the chance to reply so apologies if i miss anything
jwil - well done on all your sales but very frustrating about the broken one- this has happened to me before too - on an item i thought was unbreakable
I had a little chuckle about why we use the post offices we do - sadly my favourite one closed
Have managed to spend a lot on food shopping this week :eek::eek: - i got loads of reduced price things though rather than individual expensive things so should last a good while anyways.

Hey DDFW, good to see you again. I was so surprised about the breakage too as it's never happened before. I asked the buyer to send me a photo and it's well and truly smashed. I guess the RM just have so much on things are getting thrown and dropped all over the place. I've sent another fragile item to my folks today, so hoping it gets there ok.
We've been out this morning and got most of our festive food as well as our weekly shop. We've spent quite a lot, but it will do us for a while and there were some bulk items that we bought too which will last us for ages. We've only really got to get the turkey joint now, which will do in the week as the ones out at the moment were too short dated, and a couple of other bits. It means we are about done now, just got to tidy and put the tree up now!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
I've sold another book on amazon too! Hurrah!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0

Hey retired, how are you? I'm starting to feel all festive now :xmastree::xmastree::xmastree: that I'm a bit more organised. I shall also have to try and avoid the shops now."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Hi Jwil and everyone,
Well done on the OU assignment, Jwil! :T
I have been a bit busy the last few days but just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone. Well done on your ebay sales, Jwil, boo to the broken package. How annoying!
Almost ready for Christmas now but there's a bit more shopping to do.

Glad you are ok peaceandfreedom, are you going to have a nice break over Christmas?"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Have had a fairly quiet day today. In not very mse news we went out this morning and bought a small potted :xmastree: I didn't really see the point in dragging the old one out of the loft and moving everything around since we've left it so late, and I like to take it down fairly soon after Christmas. This one will sit on top of a piece of furniture and we can pot it in a larger pot after Christmas and hopefully reuse it in the future!
Other than that just been pottering about, watched a film and a festive episode of bones, and not got huge amounts planned for tonight.
Hope everyone's had a nice weekend"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
