I've taken photos of around 100 items this morning . I don't think I will be listing them this weekend, as it will be easier to use turbolister for them as it will be a lot quicker. I've got 81 items to relist this weekend, so may try and get a few new things on to make up to the 100."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Wow! i know you don't want the clutter jwil but how i wish i had masses of stuff to get through and sell!Good idea on making up the 81 to the 100 too
DDFW, my pressie is a microwave/combi oven. It's not the most exciting present in the world, but it's what I want. Over the years we have been donated things or just bought cheap stuff to tide us over. So now, I'd like to start replacing these things with decent items that I love. As our oven is as old as me, it will be a handy backup if it decides it's had enough before we get round to doing the kitchen.
I'm not sure you'd like my catShe's particularly disdainful of us, will not ever sit on our laps (doesn't like being handled), vomits regularly and refuses to use the cat flap :rotfl: She's a very insular cat, but makes her own entertainment and is hilarious to watch.
What a fab prezzie - do they just look like a microwave? - i know i've thought about a little worktop oven thingy - our oven is bigso something smaller would be great - i have it on my wish list
Oh and i love our oven - i'm just thinking of running costs
I know what you mean about being given stuff or getting just what you can at the time rather than the more expensive item that you really want. Ooooh! maybe you could suggest to mr jwil that he could cook your dinner in there to make it romantic :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I'm with you on this though jwil - much better to get something you will use all the time, appreciate, that you want :T
And your cat sounds so funny! Must admit i'd be forever trying to give her a little stroke :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Just a little update for all - (shameless copy and paste from my thread)
I am very pleased to say that i have now sold my car :T i did however accept an offer which was lower than the start price BUT i am very happy that this was the right decision - for lots of reasonsI had ALOT of very good advice and support from the extremely lovely jwil - thank you so much! And OH was also very helpful :smileyhea
HOWEVER - i still have a shortfall to catch up on this month.
The reason being i don't want my funds to be swallowed up in day to day living so i am splitting the money i received between 1) funds towards the next urgent (in fact extremely overdue) house maintenance job 2) repayment towards target 13) some to catch up on the shortfall.
This leaves my new shortfall target at just shy of £200 - with any surplus meaning i can cover some bills from this months money (rather than next months which i *could* do due to due dates but we will see). To this end i have several items listed on the bay of e - in fact 50/100 newly listed items and aim to hit my personal target later today of 100 newly listed goodies - just the small job of finding new items to list
I have bids on several things so that will help and will see how things shape up with this over the next few days
New info to this is that i'm at 78/100 (listings done just got to put them on a little later).CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

WOW! I dont think I even own 100 things lol.
My problem is that I am getting to the stage where I am not sure I want to get rid of an item for a few bob.Other problem is my OH is a hoarder and does not like me ebaying stuff away and he was supposed to be out today but is here but I have managed a few things to get listed

Good news DDFW - despite the shortfall for the month at least its done0 -
Lam - we inherited a housefull of stuff, so it was a box of that. I don't personally have that much left other than books and a few other items.
DDFW my pressie is this:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-Slimline-Combination-Microwave-White/dp/B0036M4WB2/ref=sr_1_1?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1329060161&sr=1-1

 had to refund an amazon book today which hasn't arrived  Oh well.
Been out this morning so probably won't get a lot on ebay today as I'm feeling a bit tired.
I do have plenty to relist though so that's not a problem. I relisted some this morning, and I'll do some more later tonight."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Wow, I'm seriously impressed with this, DDFW! I'm sure you'll more than make up the £200 shortfall, good on you, girl. :beer:0 -
Well after posting that I couldn't be bothered to list, I changed my mind and have now put 8 new items on there :T
I'm not overly expecting some of them to sell as I was just going to get rid of them, but I thought as it was free listing I'd give them a shot."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Well I've had some interest in my 'rubbish' items so that's quite intriguing :j
I've listed one item for DH and done my relists. I've got a few things going out tonight with one selling, so I shall relist those too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
