Hey DDFW, aww about your OH and his romantic side, I'm sure he has his moments, though now I'm curious as to what he thinks is romantic and you don't  :rotfl:
Sending positive selling vibes atcha
Ebayqueen - positive selling vibes to you too! Well done on getting accepted for PC, it's an elusive club :T Hope you earn lots from it. I'd love to get in there one day."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Very glad that's all over for a few weeks. It was rather chilly this morning, though slightly warmer than yesterday.
We are due snow tonight, not sure whether I am  or :snow_grinabout that! I was kind of hoping for a heatwave next week!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Ebayqueen - excellenty on pinecones - though i've not had anything from them for a bit although others have i guess its all about the demographic they need for each survey so that when you do get one there is no screening outVery glad that's all over for a few weeks. No snow here, just darned rain. It's not cold out though so that's nice.
I got up early this morning to get a few things done before work. Took the dog out for a walk, and he decided to roll in something absolutely rank, so I've had to give him a bath now   . Even the cat came out to see what the stink was about it's that bad :rotfl:. I'm very glad I hadn't had a shower first, but I'm sure I can still smell it. Extra exercise obtained chasing the dog around the house when he heard the shower as he doesn't like water :rotfl:
Last day today for a week  Got quite a bit to do though, so I ought to get on really."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Morning JWIL and friends. Well done on sales - free weekend on Ebay this weekend so I am going to chant all day to myself 'find things to sell on ebay'. I got £3 off a survey this week but thats about it with my debtbusting so really need to get back on track now. For some odd reason it doesnt seem as fun just sitting in your bank as opposed to actually paying off my loan - but need to get a chunk together to avoid pesky fees
Have a good weekend everyone x0 -

Oooh, hurrah! Thanks for that LAM, must get organised this weekend now :T I've got a few things listed that I want to bundle together and sell as a job lot now, so that will be good for a free listing weekend. I'm fed up with relisting them.
I agree that it's not the same having to keep money in your account rather than paying it off. There's some real satisfaction in transferring it away. Could you maybe set up a savings account purely for the loan so you can transfer it out and get satisfaction from it and count it as having been paid?"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hi Lam - i will be chanting along with youWouldn't it be loverly if we had a mary poppins type song to get eb*y goodies to just come sashaying towards us? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: After listing 50 newly listed items and getting blocked on listing a few others then i kinda stopped but knew i'd have some time today and tomorrow - which means i have 50 new things to find and list to hit my personal target *eep*
Lam - just a suggestion - do you keep your loan savings in a separate account so you can see exactly what is building up in there? Also don't know if you can pay a set amount each month but have you checked if there are any decent interest rates around for like a years savings? Then at least the interest you'll earn as well can be chipped off the evil loan interest and extra payment charges. Sorry if a) i'm giving advice where its not wanted and b) if you've already done all thisOooh, hurrah! Good idea on the job lots jwil :T Hope you get some good sales
oh and i meant to quote in about your dog too i was both  at the vile smelly thing and :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - at the dog scarpering at the sound of the shower and have an image of you chasing him down round the house :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: with a cameo appearance from your cat too :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Might have been fox poo  My JRT and other wappy multibreed always come to the stables with us and the wappy one (who is long haired - like a mini retreiver) always rolling in stuff. Luckily she doesnt mind taking a shower or being blow dried!
Thanks guys for advice re loan - I have an esavings account with about 71p inso am going to use that and transfer over. Have now found out that its 2% charge of whatever I pay in so I suppose whether I pay bits or a lump sum - its still going to be 2% so it probably wouldnt matter paying in bits? or am I missing something there? My loan is at 14.8%
so no savings is going to compare with that I dont think. I need to just 'get over it' in my head and keep chipping away at it. It will be gone one day!

I like the idea of a song DDFW - volunteer you to write itWe could all sing the chorus, release it as a single with ebayqueen as the lead singer obviously, make our millions and never have to list on there again :T:T

Whilst it was very frustrating for me, I was chuckling away inside too DDFW :rotfl: The look on the cat's face was priceless, and the dog is so daft, when I called him, he hurtled up the stairs, but when I turned the shower on, he hurtled away again just as fast
It was lucky I hadn't had a shower beforehand, that's the first time in ages I've not done so! I also would have been well miffed if I was running late!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". - gosh dedicatedDFW - I bow down to you lol - I put 3 or 4 things on and I am bored - well done :T I am truly inspired now - in fact I think I am going to make my target 10 for this weekend
I'm thinking it must have been fox poo Lam, though it's funny as it was just a grass verge on the street next to us, not a field or anything. But there is plenty of evidence of wildlife around, so I guess it must be.
If it's 2% of everything, then it would seem that it makes no difference, so I'd be tempted to just pay it off as it may reduce interest. But there's probably something else to consider so it may be worth asking on the loans board or something. (ooh, I wonder if this will come up on my :money: course, I might know the answer in future if it does)
