Thanks penny, hope you are feeling better too.

We've had a lovely day out today, made a nice change and has blown away the cobwebs. My back's better again now, though I'm feeling shattered.

Just waiting for Chinese now :D

    Hope everyone's had a good day x

Sounds lovely a trip to the sea and a takeaway :):) Delighted to hear the book had gone up in price when you had relisted it. Every cloud as they say. Well done on your overpayment. Hope you are feeling well today.

    Take care

    Yay!

Glad to hear your week is going nicely, Jwil. :D

I have been busy this week - the decluttering urge has come on strong this week and I've got lots of cr*p cleared out of the house, it's great. My piece of furniture sold and is being collected at the weekend. I've freecycled some stuff which I always enjoy. I've burned loads of paperwork going back 20 years (yes, really ). Took loads of utter tat to the tip. Two bags waiting to go to the charity shop. It's great - loads more to do but it's a great feeling.

Loads of decorating on the agenda in the next couple of months as well - it's going to be great when it's all done. Very very cheaply of course - but even with almost no budget, great things can be done.

AND I ordered a new cooker yesterday - you would not BELIEVE what my current cooker is like - a prehistoric probably-should-be-condemned heap - I'm sooooo excited at the thought of a new one.

Thing is about being skint - when you replace something old and useless, it's so exciting. :j

Oh and I've lost another pound - but again, won't count it officially unless it stays off by Saturday. :)

    Wow, peaceandfreedom, you've done really well :T :T :T

Oh, I can totally understand the excitement about a new appliance (hence my pressie from DH) and if your cooker is anything like mine (born in the 1970s) then it is hugely exciting to get it replaced  It's very true how much you appreciate something new when you are skint.

Well done on the weightloss, hope it stays off ok, it should do with the amount you've been doing!

I've not really achieved much today. DH was supposed to be out but he couldn't go earlier so was in a grump. He's gone out now though, so I have some peace and quiet but I still haven't done anything. Must get off the computer

I've been doing surveys and have redeemed a £10 amazon voucher, so happy there. My redeem from last weeks bingo got refused as I hadn't played enough so I have been bingo-ing my little heart out for the last few days to ensure it doesn't happen again :D I've had a lucky streak too so it's all good :D
