Morning everyone
The day always seems brighter when you don't have to go to work
I've made a pad of £5.70 today, gained a £5 amazon voucher and sold another book on amazon. Not bad start!
Off to get on with the assignment now."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Thanks DDFW
I have progressed with the assignment, but also achieved some other stuff too including watching a film, so not too bad a day.
DH has just come home in a grump, lovely! I guess I'll get some more assignment done tonight then"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Hope your hubby is ok hon - it is difficult being in a stressful job and maybe he doesn't realise when he comes home in a grump and the affect this has?
Glad the rest of your day has been good though and hope mr jwil feels a bit better later xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Thanks DDFW, he's just tired, and it always makes him worse. He's having a rest so hopefully will pick up later.

Feeling rough as anything today
DH is on a right downer so that's stressing me out. My assignment is due today and I'm not sure I've got the focus.
I'm going to go on nhs direct as my back is still very painful and that's not helping.
I'm feeling very sorry for myself today, so I'll try and come back a bit more positive later"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

((hugs)) to you jwil - definitely look into how to ease your back pain - it has been ongoing for a while now and i know how painful backpain is x
As you say your assignment is due today and i know its hard to focus when there are other things on your mind so hope you can do your best on this.

Nothing worse than back pain to bring you down. Perhaps you should consider going to the doctors now, it's been a while and nothing seems to improve it. Stronger anti-inflamatories maybe needed. Sorry to hear your OH is down again sounds as though you both need a big, but gentle hug {{gentle hug}}
Take care and hope you both feel a lot brighter soon.0 -
Thanks guys. Still feeling a bit rubbish. I've done most of my assignment now, but got a bit left to do.
I went on nhs direct earlier and it seems that there is nothing they can do. I've got to take the maximum amount allowed of painkillers (which I haven't been doing) and use heat against it (which I've been doing periodically and makes a difference), and only then if it gets worse should I see a GP. I've got no other symptoms so there's nothing really they can do. It makes sense and I wasn't really surprised. They did say it could last up to 6 weeks though
How's everything with you retired? Hope it's all well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
