Now another two items listed on ebay and DH has pulled out another 6 boxes of books for booting from the garage. :j :j"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Thanks DDFW, it's made a big difference to the garage, but I've replaced the box in the house with an empty one to refill as I read more
My back is awful, I don't know what I've done. I don't recall having strained it or anything. Oh well, I'm walking around in a cloud of deep heat fumes. I'll be so popular in the office tomorrow "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Good advice, because it may be a symptom of something else so get yourself checked out. Back problems are so annoying, hope you feel better soon.
I shouldn't have decided to go all strict with my diet tomorrow because my subconcious diet-wrecking self has decided to stuff itself today with all kinds of things that are strictly forbidden.
However, I have decreed that Fridays are official weigh-ins from now on, so hopefully any damage I've done will be undone by then.
Good work today on the decluttering, Jwil. I have spent today sitting by a blazing log fire with an eye on the TV but also working on a document that I need to deliver for tomorrow. Nice day.0 -

Thanks Guys. I've looked up back pain on the NHS Direct website before and I think it's something they would rather you self-treat unless it goes on for more than 3 weeks.
I am wondering if I have been overcompensating due to my sore feet, and there is quite a bit of bending when I'm surveying, so wondering if it is a result of that. I've also recently changed my work chair so shall be looking to change that back too.
I will try and look after myself, but if it does continue I will go to the GP.
Sounds like you had a good day Peaceandfreedom, nice and relaxing but getting something done too"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
As you say jwil - all these are things that can contribute so hopefully you will start to feel better as you get your new chair back and the blisters goCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000

Well I was in work early this morning, so snaffled my old chair back before anyone could pinch it
(It was only being kept as a spare anyway). It is so much comfier than the one I replaced it with (the wheel keeps falling off which is annoying, but I have now decided I can put up with annoying for increased comfort).
I've made a small £2 pad today. Annoyingly the cheque from RM appears to be getting swallowed up by fuel needed for the extra miles while I'm surveying. The good news is I will get this back in expenses, so it's just a delayed payment and does mean I don't need to put the fuel on CC :T"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I had a letter today from a catalogue company saying I may have missed the changes to their terms and conditions sent out in 2008 :rotfl: :rotfl:
I ordered something from there, and forgot to make the payment as it was so long since I'd used it. As I had paid up once I realised, they kindly refunded any charges I would have received, so I am pleased about that, but it still made me chuckle anway."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I had a chuckle too at that jwil - and its definitely much better than a letter saying charges have gone on! - What a nice change
And you're just £7 away from paying off £1000 already this year :TCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
