That's exactly what I do - He he :rotfl: :T0 -
To be honest I cant see the point of it. They can advertise all the junk they want but at the end of the day its the parent that has to buy it. Simple soloution....say no.0

Yep!!!
The problem nowdays is nobody cooks.
I remember my granny cooking cakes and roast dinners on sundays and me helping my mum with gravy and mash.
Its to easy to go and buy ready made meals or chuck a pizza in the oven and banning tv comercials wont help!!!
I blaime labour for putting up taxes resulting in people working longer hours meaning less time for cooking.
Why dont they make healthy food tax free!0 -
Yes it is up to the parents to say no, but advertising is very powerful to children, cheery music, brigth colours etc this attracts them and they recognise the name and products in no time.
Whatever happened to the educational adverts with that little boy and Charlie the cat, the " Charlie says....." thats what needed on tv.
I too hate how they show a kid crapping or womans products during the main eating periods of the day, its off putting and should be moved to later in the night say after 8pm."I AM THE GATEKEEPER OF MY OWN DESTINY" Nacho Libre

I quite agree. I can quite confidently say that I have never been sat in front of the television, seen an advert for canestan and thought "Ooh, I must pop out and get some of that...."Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Have to disagree there ! Nothing wrong with A McDonalds - they are only unhealthy when you live on the b****y things. If you actually read what is in a big mac or similar, the most unhealthy bit is the bun !
You need a varied diet - if that includes the occasional burger, kebab, fish and chips or whatever - it will do you no harm whatsoever.0 -

Fine in theory, but do they have to drown their chips in a ton of salt? Whatever happened to choice? (other than don't bl**dy go there!)0 -

I'm just wondering if Bernard Matthews will now be advertising his turkeys as coming complete with a packet of hankies and a Beecham's Flu Remedy..........;)
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0
