Morning!
Got up an hour later than I had planned, but I couldn't get to sleep last night, every time i felt like i was dropping off I felt like i could move which freaks me out, so I would wake myself up and be too scared to try and sleep again.
Anywhoo, dog is walked, OH is off to work with his packed lunch, he's getting good at getting the bits and bobs he wants to take himself, i still need to make his sarnies though.
Back to work today after 17 days off, so that will be interesting! Got soup for lunch and we'll have stir fry for dinner
Made £10 last night doing surveys, not sure if i want to swap these for Amazon, M&S or Tesco vouchers...
Have a lovely day all and hugs to Dazi, Jackie and Lou

Morning All
Up early showered and dressed. I have just put the second load of washing in.
Have got to go to town today to grab some more brandy. I used the last of mine on the cake so I need a decent one for drinking, Asda has three barrels on offer so that will have to do. I might treat myself to a bottle of Tia maria and a bottle of Cointreau as well, I love Cointreau it makes me feel all Christmassy and at £10 a bottle, I won't feel guilty.:D hic
I don't drink much through the year so it is a treat that lasts a long time.
DD is at college today so I have just called her. Think I will give her another shout in a mo because there is no sign of life yet.
Well must get on
((((((Hugs)))))) to JackieG, Dazi, beth , Lou and all who is in need of one x x

Morning all,
Brrr freezing cold here, and raining too, kept waking in the night cold too.
Off to the Dr this morning for a smear test (sorry if tmi) , don't like them but it needs to be done, after that dd wants to go into town to get her secret santa, and I have to get my gift for the giving tree at work. Wraped all of dd's presents yesterday, so thats most of mine done, just the family ones to do now :j
Not sure what is for dinner, might make a meat pie, as I have some hm pie filling in the freezer.
Need to do an online food shop, and have a tidy through today too.
Hugs to Jackieg and Dazi xx

Morning all,
Thank you for your continued good wishes, it is very much appreciated. xxx
I too am thinking of Dazi and her family. X
Damp here this morning. The plan was for the kids to get back to school today, but they couldn't sleep last night; DS1 has an awful cough now, too. So, I have left them sleeping and they can stay put with their dad today, who is staying home this week. Funeral is Friday but BIL is coming home to rest on Wednesday,so OH will be needed to carry him. Besides which, I need him beside me to keep me going. Busy day today, off to see the priest with my sisters, then the florist, then the funeral director to finish some last things off. Then youngest sis and I are off to sort out the tea for afterwards.
OS for today will be the pot of soup I have cooking, and cleaning the house when I get home, so the christmas tree can go up tomorrow.
Have a good day everyone
Hugs all round.

Good Morning

I had a lovely weekend, spent some much needed family time (I was well enough to join in and enjoy it) and I feel very relaxed
Saturday DS and I made Peppermint Cream Christmas Trees in White and Green... he bought all the ingredients as they were gifts for the grandparents
Yesterday MIL and FIL visited after Church (as Roo is due soon we swapped gifts now just in case DH and I decide not to go visit on boxing day), DH made them a Beef Stew and Dumplings and Apple Crumble with Icecream and they loved it! After they left DH and DS played Scrabble... I joined in and helped DS and we won by 5 points
Anyway, good news is I don't have a UTI (phew)... Roo is making issues for me, you see Roo is so high up I can't eat anything my tummy is so small... and in the evenings I believe I am getting Braxton Hicks which are pain free but the top of my tummy near Roo goes solid... so my tummy feels like it's being squeezed... It's not painful, but uncomfortable... I just couldn't sleep last night!
I'm at week 36 (I will be 'term' next week!!!) and I gained half a lb (so 1.5lbs gained now!) so things are going well considering I am not eating much, and I've been sick this week (which normally leads to a weight loss) so we are pleased! Roo is very active this morning
DS felt a whole leg last night, and this morning you can feel the feet and the bottom... DS is getting so excited about it all... and wants to know about what Roo will need when born, and what care is required and what he can do to help. He wanted to know about the plans in place for him, and visiting the hospital. He was jumping this morning
Anyway, today I have to make 2 loaves of bread (one for me and one for the boys) and I am on the school run this afternoon (last week before holidays... yay!) So just relaxing this morning... I'm sure I'll find something to do which is slow
Hope everyone has a great day xWe spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -

Morning all!
Had a lovely relaxing weekend, Saturday we just relaxed and made some Chrimbo decs, and in the evening I went out for a delish curry with another OSer, Sunday we popped to get oh some bday cards and then had an enormous roast and collapsed for the evening with the papers and a film
dd4 has been full of cold and was not at all happy until Sunday morning, when she woke up full of smiles as well as snot! dd1 has just phoned me from school to tell me she has flu and is dying, told her she's caught the baby's cold and to take a couple of paracetamol and that I'm not collecting her! Mean mean mummy!
Flown round tidying house, not in it's usual Monday state, so it seems that the monkeys really are starting to pick up their own rubbish/precious items! Made rolls late last night, so just need to pop a loaf in later, wm on, ironing away, and beds changed.
It's oh's bday today, and he'll be back from his trip soon, so me and dd4 will be off to pick him up from the airport in a bit
No idea what he'll want to do, probably sleep as he's been partying since Thurs! Planning a nice meal this eve, just not quite sure what it will be lol!
Will be back later for a catch up, hugs where needed, have a good day all xxxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Morning ladies. Cold or what out there today.Lovely blue sky,so decieving.
Dd was gutted yesterday. I won tickets to the x-factor final ages ago and was going to take dd and niece but after the accident we decided to put them into the school raffle. Well I hadn't mentioned it at all since then suddenly yesterday it dawned on her that we were meant to be there. So she was grumpy , never mind she understood why we raffled them off.
Got to stay in today and wait for numerous parcels and packages so will put the time to good use and make some goodies for the tin, and wrap some pressies, the thing I hate most about christmas;).
Dinner is sweet and sour chicken with rice. .
My poor neighbours , they decorate the tree in their garden every year at christmas. It looks lovely, they spend a lot of time and money I imagine on it. When I opened my bedroom curtains this morn some toerag or toerags have tore down all the decorations and thrown them all around the street.:mad: Have had a quick word with some other neighbours, (was gossiping on the doorstep in my pjs:o) and we are going to go through our decorations and donate some so the tree can be re-decorated. I have lots of tree decs that I dont use as have way too many for them all to fit.I just don't understand why people can be so spiteful to do that.
Off I go to have a coffee and get the wrapping paper down...........so looking forward to it .......... not.
Have a lovely day all:)Paul Walker , in my dreams;)0 -

I have been reading, but time ran out for posting. I have been so busy doing . . . .Can't really remember :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Oh I recall, scanning a mountain of paperwork, cooking the odd meal or two, going away with the 'van, and going round York, catching up with Strictly and the results, which pleased me no end when Holly went out.:o
Didn't wake up this morning until 9.45 am
- must have needed the sleep is all I can say.;):p
Today, showered and hair washed and dried, sent an email I needed to go off, suggested to DH he gets the tree, etc., out of the loft, but he wants to wait until first thing one day :mad::eek:, but need to go to town tomorrow, which then gives me b. all time until we go down to London on Friday, plus want to check what I need from town I think I feel a rant coming on. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
