Morning. I now want to rename you Madame Cholet in honour of your wombling..........
Great start to your diary in your new home. So upbeat. Poor Peedie being forgotten!
Oh, I thought of you yesterday when I was at the beach. I found a fish box....... it was a bit boring though because it was brownSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

Crumbs. page two already!!! Congratulations on your new diary Pippi....a great idea!! Looks like you'll have lots of things sorted before you shoot off next week on your lovely Xmas Trek, well done!! :T:T
Was feeling a bit down last night and again this morning, but reading your old and this new diary has fairly cheered me up. No doubt your blog will help a lot too!
I had an Xmas fair yesterday, not very good at all I'm afraid . When the lady came round to collect the table money (£15 ), I had only sold £2.20 of goods. She took pity on me and offered to waive the payment, but I insisted she took £5, and said I would give her more if things picked up enough. As it was, I took just under £15, so making just under £10 on the day...not good. But I suppose it was better than nothing!! There were loads of comments about my stuff..."looks lovely"; "how clever"; "what a good idea"...but hardly anyone bought anything!!! I know things are tight with everyone, but I felt my things were well priced and good value for money.
Oops, sorry, rant over...just feeling a bit down atm.
Going to try another angle and take some samples to in to the big town hospital tomorrow and see if I can get any sales there. I have a post op check-up on Thursday, so I can collect the samples and bring in any orders I get. I also have a fair on Friday at my college, so hopefully things will go then too. At least I am trying (very as my DH would say lol!!!)
So today I need to take photos of everything I am selling and stock take it all and get it onto the computer. Then I can keep track of things when/if orders come through.
First I need to get dressed...lazy morning, oops!
Sorry for the long post, perhaps I should start my own diary and spare you all my wittering on other folks' threads.
Mmm something else to do...must start a list!!
Have a lovely day everyone...xxx

sounds like you've a lovely time planned over christmas, glad Peedie is getting his own christmas holiday with his auntie wik given that you're abandoning him lol
i'm going to ask what i've kept wondering about - what the heck is slow food? i've been trying to figure it out but the computer says no!
well done for £10 off your debts, good start to the diary0 -
Hi Pippi and all
Glad I found you, it must be like having a group of benign stalkers.
I am going to finish writing/posting Christmas cards today, I am, I know I have said this for five days now but I'm determined.
On a brighter note i've just found 2 20ps whilst out at the shops and a Karin Slaughter Audio Book for my Dad in the charity shop. I'd already bought some for him for Christmas but the more the merrier and he can always pass them on to others with sight problems.0 -
Hi Pippi,
just a quick one as it's moving at a fair old pace already here - will catch up properly later, but just wanted to come out of lurkdom and join in from the off this timeI haven't posted on your last diary but have been reading avidly
happy new diary, and once again many congratulations on the professional wombling! :j

Hello
I'm another lurker, love reading because it sets off so many lovely little ideas in my headbox
OH will be spending his time off over Christmas transferring soil from one raised bed to make two slightly lesser raised beds (lovely chunky railway sleepers) for me to plant all sorts of goodness, inspired by your good self
Happy new diary!
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0 -
Hmmmm, still feeling like a nearly fully wound down clockwork toy, even after a sleep. Got to get washed and dressed to do the school run in a mo. Glad I haven't tried to do any work as even typing this has taken a while0

KK, you don't sound well at all - I've been feeling a bit dizzy, actually, I wonder if there's a bug ...
Keiss - did you check out the other stalls at the fair? How were they doing? How does your stuff compare pricewise? What I was thinking, it might be priced really keenly for the amount of time you put into it, but that may be more than people want to pay, especially if it *is* unique, sadly - might take people a while to get used to something new. Does that make sense?2023: the year I get to buy a car0
