I swear blind my luck changed for the worse once I moved house last summer. At the old house I was averaging a win every two days or so and quite took it for granted. It has been a seriously slow start to the year at Toonie Towers. I am not so sure that Facebook are sucking up all the comps to be honest, when I work my way through the comps posted here, I would say three quarters are not Facebook. My problem with Facebook is the alarming number of voting competitions, and also the "pick 10 friends and get five to say you sent the" sort of things. By the time I find these comps, most of my friends have already entered!!

I HAVE been lucky, and had some large-ish wins, and I would say that they have just about all come from comps requiring some effort, rather than just signing up or filling a form in.

I loathe Twitter with an absolute passion, I do the comps on there because it is easy to just "re-tweet". However, I'm not so sure these comps are fair, I keep seeing the same 4 or so people winning over and over again, and I am becoming convinced it is because the are seriously prolific tweeters of different companies businesses (even when the co's are not running a comp), plus they seem to be the people with the most followers? I'm not sure Twitter is a level playing field.

Its interesting you should say about twitter. I have not won very much on there at all despite doing everything the usual winners do. Maybe it does have something to do with the number of followers

Alot more people are entering. Apart from lots of flowers from the daily. I have not had much through the post, compared to what I was getting last year.I was getting around 3/4 prizes a week. Just keep hoping for a really big win soon (£100 +).

It depends what people enter for as well. I only enter for valuable prizes, money or vouchers so, if I was doing comps ending tomorrow, I'd probably only enter around 40-50 of all the comps as the other prizes would hold no interest for me.

I know it seems that some people win lots and they may do in terms of quantity but sometimes I look at the 'what have we won this month' thread and at lot of the time, the people who have won loads have won stuff that I wouldn't have wanted.

I sometimes look at lists of 30+ prizes and think 'What a load of rubbish you've managed to amass there!'
If I'd won that same stuff, 90% of it would have gone straight in the bin
